Football Kenya Federation president Nick Mwendwa says the country is ready to host Ghana's Black Stars next weekend in the Afcon Qualification match.

The Harambee Stars kicked off the campaign with a 2-1 lose against Sierra Leone, and Sebastien Migne will need a victory to stand a chance for qualifying to Cameroon with nothing but a victory against Ghana on September 8.

The FKF boss has assured the fans security will be prioritized ahead of the match.

"We are ready to host them, everything is in place to ensure the day will be a success. We ask the fans to turn out in large numbers and support us, support the team.

At the same time, FKF has promised to deal with any rogue elements who might try to cause chaos during the match as was witnessed a few days ago during a league match between Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards.
