The Black Starlets boss talks about their vintage performance against the hosts at the world youth championship

Ghana coach Samuel Paa Kwasi Fabin is excited to have steered his team to the knockout stage of the ongoing Fifa Under-17 World Cup.

The Black Starlets put up an outstanding display to hand hosts India a 4-0 defeat in their last group match on Thursday.

Captain Eric Ayiah hit a double while Richard Danso and Emmanuel Toku scored a goal each to ensure a 4-0 win, which lifted Ghana to the top of the table.

“Yes I am very happy [about my team's performance]," Fabin said.

"I told them to do some things which they were not doing [in the previous games].

“It was a good performance from the boys.

"We are yet to know our next opponents [for the next round]; we will strategize when we see our next opponents.

"I must be frank that they [India] didn't pose any threat to our team today and I don't know why they didn't come to the party like [they did in] their previous matches."
