Tunisian side EO Sidi Bouzid have unveiled their new home kit for the 2019-20 season, with a design that appears to be a direct copy of Nigeria’s current iconic strip.
The Super Eagles' current home kit, which was launched before the 2018 World Cup, is a tribute to the famous Nigeria '94 shirt - with eagle wing-inspired black-and-white sleeves and green torso - and has become one of the most recognisable jerseys in world football.
The popular design, which broke Nike records upon its launch, has now begun to inspire copycats, with EO Sidi Bouzid now appearing to jump on the bandwagon.
Perhaps the Tunisian second division side, seemingly unabashed at copying the shirt design, are hoping that some of the Super Eagles' mojo rubs off on them as they look to claw their way back into the top division.
EO Sidi Bouzid’s new kits will be worn for the first time when Ligue Professionelle 2 commences later this year.
