Dele Alli’s goal in Tottenham Hotspur’s 4-1 come-from-behind victory over Bournemouth on Sunday takes the England international to within touching distance of the record of former Chelsea forward Salomon Kalou.
The Ivorian is one of only three players to have scored in more Premier League games without being on the losing side than Alli.
Spurs were 1-0 down following Junior Stanislas’s opener when Alli fired Serge Aurier’s cross past Asmir Begovic in the 35th minute of Sunday’s Premier League clash at the Vitality Stadium.
The visitors would go on to win 4-1 after Son Heung-min netted twice and Aurier added a fourth in the second half to complete a fine turnaround.
Alli’s strike now means that the England international has scored in 30 Premier League games, and is still to be on the losing side when he’s found the net.
His record stands at won 24 and drawn six in matches in which he’s scored.
There are only three players who have scored in more matches without being defeated, with Liverpool’s James Milner atop the list — and the only active Prem player ahead of Alli — after scoring in 47 games without defeat.
Former England and Aston Villa striker Darius Vassell is second with 46, with Kalou third on 32.
He made 254 outings for the Blues including 107 from the bench, and found the net on 60 occasions.
