Bong lauds Brighton and Hove Albion’s performance after Tottenham Hotspur draw

The Seagulls forced Mauricio Pochettino's side to a stalemate which could be vital in their quest to remain in the English top-flight

Brighton and Hove Albion defender Gaetan Bong has praised his teammates for their performance after holding Tottenham Hostpur to a 1-1 draw in Tuesday's English Premier League clash.

Harry Kane's opened the scoring in the 48th minute but Pascal Gross' effort from the penalty spot two minutes later rescued a point for the hosts.

The result ensured the Seagulls are eight points clear of the relegation zone, and the Cameroon international has asked his side to 'keep fighting' as they aim to maintain their Premier League status.

“Massive result tonight one more point. Thanks all of you for the support, let's keep fighting together,” Bong tweeted.
