Ayub Timbe scored his maiden Chinese Super League goal in Beijing Renhe’s 3-1 victory over Dalian Yifang.
The goal, coming just in his second game in the Chinese top flight saw Timbe ink his name as the second Kenyan, after Michael Olunga to have scored in Chinese league.
Timbe, who made his CSL debut with Renhe’s with a draw against Jiangsu Sainty on Tuesday, scored his side’s second goal after Cameroonian Benjamin Moukandjo had given them the lead early in the second half.
Senegalese international, Diop Mkhete popped up with a third goal in the 90th minute to complete a fine even for African exports in China.
The victory lifted Renhe to seventh on the log with 19 points.
