Arsenal will finish the 2017-18 Premier League season having scored 54 league goals at the Emirates; their joint-highest tally of home goals in a top-flight campaign, along with 2004-05.

The Gunners picked up a convincing 5-0 victory at home to Burnley on Sunday evening, marking manager Arsene Wenger's final home game in charge of the club after 22 years of service.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang opened the scoring for Arsenal before concluding the scoring late in the game, with goals from Alexandre Lacazette, Sead Kolasinac and Alex Iwobi in between.

The result nudged the Gunners six points ahead of Burnley, who sit directly beneath them in the Premier League table with just one set of full fixtures remaining.

It will be Wenger's farewell which the game is remembered for, however, as the iconic manager was given a guard of honour before kick-off and serenaded throughout the tie.

The Frenchman confirmed that he would take his leave at the end of the current campaign after more than two decades in charge of the club, following mounting pressure for his resignation over the past 18 months.

Arsenal's 5-0 victory will be seen as a fitting tribute for Wenger, however, with tension turning into appreciation in the weeks following the announcement.
