Aidil Sharin leaves Home to coach Kedah next season

Home United’s Aidil Sharin is set to make the move across the causeway after being appointed as Kedah’s new coach for the 2019 season.

Aidil had a stellar season with The Protectors after leading the club to second place in the Singapore Premier League. But the main highlight of his time there would be winning the AFC Cup ASEAN Zone championship.

Of course this move shouldn’t come as a surprise as Aidil had been courted in the past by Malaysian clubs and after the successful season he had at Home, this move was only natural.

He will now have a monumental challenge ahead of him as Kedah have replaced their head coach twice. The club finished a disappointing sixth in the league.
