Leopards Team Manager Gilbert Selebwa says 'Gattuso' is close to joining Ingwe

Former Gor Mahia midfielder Collins 'Gatusso' Okoth is close to joining arch-rivals AFC Leopards.

The midfielder fell out with the 16-time league champions last season, forcing the two parties to cut links. Leopards Team Manager Gilbert Selebwa says 'Gattuso' is close to joining Ingwe and the deal might be made official anytime from Saturday.

"We are interested in his services. We are aware of his qualities and vast experience, and his addition will be a plus to us. The discussion is underway and we are almost there. We have agreed on most things and I believe it will be made official any time from now.

"He has trained with us and he is keen on turning out for us. We want to have a strong team to compete next season."

After winning the GOtv Shield, Leopards will represent Kenya in the Caf Confederations Cup next year.
