Al Jazira held Iranian side Tractorsazi Tabriz to a 1-1 draw this week in their AFC Champions League 2018 encounter.
The Emirati side held on to the second spot in the group, thanks to the result. The team were able to pick a point from the fixture, largely because of their custodian Ali Khaseif. The 30-year-old was in fine form between the sticks, pulling off remarkable saves.
Al Jazira had gone into the lead early through Romarinho. Though the Iranians battered the Al Jazira defence in search of goals, they would concede only once, thanks to some superlative goalkeeping.
The UAE international pulled off an impressive eight saves, registered 36 passes, one punch and one ball claim.
He was simply sensational on the night for Al Jazira and is aptly named this week's Toyota Asian Player of the Week!
