TRANSFER ROUND-UP: JDT's foreign imports revealed

Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT)

Having let Pereyra Diaz go and with the expected loaning out of Hariss Harun, there are spots in the JDT camp for new recruitment. Thus far, Brian Ferreira and Gonzalo Cabrera have been signed as like for like replacements. The 22-year-old Ferreira is an attacking midfielder who previously played for Independiente B and was once part of the Argentina U-17 squad. As for Cabrera, his last played for Al-Faisaly Harmah in the Saudi League. The 27-year-old attacking midfielder started out at Boca Juniors but have never played for the senior team before moving out to other clubs.

Johor Darul Ta'zim II (JDTII)

Former PKNS FC forward, Gabriel Guerra has been confirmed to join JDTII. He was instrumental in the Red Ants' run all the way to the FA Cup final last season and was wanted to be retained by the Super League club before JDTII swooped in with a better offer.

Fakhrurazi Musa has moved from Terengganu to T-Team having spent five season with the Turtles. The 25-year-old midfielder will now compete for a place in Rahmad Darmawan's team as they seek to improve on last season's performance in the Super League.


The Premier League newcomer has moved quick to secure the signing of Vincent Weijl after the Dutchman impressed during trials with PKNP. The 26-year-old midfielder isn't stranger to this part of the world having played in the Hong Kong league before. Weijl last played for FC Federicia in Denmark's second division.
