TRANSFER ROUND-UP: Melaka United sign Sergio Aguero

Argentinian forward Sergio Aguero has signed for MSL side Melaka United, while PJ Rangers sign one more player from the Mousedeers.

Recently-promoted MSL side Melaka United continue to add more strength to their side by signing 22-year-old striker, Sergio Aguero to lead their line for next season.

The Premier League champions signed Sergio Fabian Ezequiel Aguero, or also known as Kun, who previously played for Club Atletico All Boys at Argentina and FC Tatabanya at Hungary.

Melaka United are looking to go all out in adding their strength, with JDT’s Amri Yahyah and Selangor’s R. Gopinathan reportedly also joining the Mousedeers.

Aguero had earlier attended trial at JDT II back in October.


Petaling Jaya Rangers

Meanwhile, Petaling Jaya Rangers, formerly known as Air Asia FC, have also added more players to their squad, as they are try to earn promotion to the Premier League next season.

The Red Jets had earlier signed Melaka United’s midfielder, Iskandar Hanafiah to their squad. Iskandar is the sixth player to have moved from the Premier League champions to the FAM Cup side in the off-season, joining Saiful Mustafa, Mohd Afiq, Fadzley Rahim, Barath Kumar and See Kok Luen.

Petaling Jaya Rangers have also signed Simon Lee from the Kuala Lumpur U21 side, and Felcra United’s 22-year-old player, Farid Azmi.
