After the capture of Nazrin Nawi, Perak have added another midfielder from Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) in Jasazrin Jamaludin. The 30-year-old midfielder will be playing for a non-Johor based team for the first time in his career with this move. Jasazrin has shown his capability to play in several positions including the full backs roles on top of his preferred centre of midfield position. With Perak lacking a senior figure head in the middle, his potential pairing with Nasir Basharuddin will certainly add more steel to the Perak's spine.

Perak are also reportedly interested to take back centre back, Idris Ahmad from Felda United. Having played for Perak previously, Idris left the Silver State for Felda in the 2016 season but limited opportunities there have curtailed his career progression and a move back to a more familiar surroundings might be on the cards.

Melaka United

Melaka United Football Club (MUFC) are going big with their preparations for the 2017 Super League campaign and wants to take national team captain, Amri Yahyah on board. The situation with Amri at JDT still remains unclear. The management there are more than willing to listen to offers and it's up to the player to decide on his future. His continued absence from the gallery of pictures from JDT's training paints a clear picture that Amri's future will lie elsewhere.

MUFC are also keen to bring in former Pahang winger, R. Gopinathan to their roster of players. The winger is currently employed by Selangor but given the current situation engulfing the team, Gopinathan will not be the first to look for opportunities away from Selangor. The 26-year-old had a mixed season for the Red Giants in 2016 with patches of form sandwiched by poor performances. However, on his day Gopinathan can be unplayable and that quality could be something that Eric Williams could work with.
