Sime Darby FC has appointed former Terengganu head coach, Ahmad Yusof to lead the club in the FAM League next season.

Ahmad Yusof will replace Drago Mamic, who failed in the 2016 season with Sime Darby, that saw the club being relegated from the Malaysian Premier League.

Taken from Sime Darby FC’s official website, Yusof said: “I have the utmost confidence in the squad to face the FAM League, and I will do my best to make sure that the team will always play at the top level.”

Yusof is also determined to bring back Sime Darby FC to the Premier League in 2018.

Sime Darby finished this season’s Premier League at the foot of the table, collecting only 12 points from 22 games, recording only two wins.

Ahmad Yusof took over at Terengganu from Abdul Rahman Ibrahim in 2015, but later was rested by the management in the early half of the season and eventually replaced by then his assistant, Mike Mulvey.
