Perak gained all three points at Shah Alam Stadium as a second half own goal from Ugo Ukah was sufficient for The Bos Gaurus to win 1-0.
An even first half, Perak took the game by the scruff of the neck in the second half as Selangor failed to register a single shot on target the entire match. At the heart of the Perak's performance was midfielder, Nasir Basharudin.
Nasir was at his tough tackling best but also showed tremendous energy to go up to support his team mates after recovering the ball. His high energy all-round display culminated in his role for Perak's only goal of the game.
Nasir collected the cut back from fellow midfielder, Kenny Pallraj at the edge of Selangor's penalty box. Nasir took a shot that was heading towards the bottom corner of Selangor's goal before a failed interception from Ukah meant that he deflected the ball past his own goalkeeper.
A dominating Perak win highlighted by Nasir Basharudin all-action display at the heart of The Bos Gaurus' team. He is Lucozade's Player of the Day for Super League match Selangor v Perak.
