Selangor team manager Amirudin Shari announced that the Pahang quartet of Hafiz Kamal, R. Gopinathan, Khairul Azhan and Razman Roslan will be joining Selangor for the 2016 season.
He announced this in his 2016 Selangor squad announcement on Facebook on Friday.
Razman will be making a return to the team he played for from 2003 to 2012, while the rest have only played for Pahang and its feeder club, Shahzan Muda, throughout their senior careers.
All of them had played key roles for the Elephants in the past few years, leading them to the 2013 and 2014 Malaysia Cup titles, the 2014 FA Cup title, and the quarter-final stage of the 2015 AFC Cup.
But the quartet's move has surely poured more fuel on the speculation that Selangor head coach Mehmet Durakovic will be replaced by former Pahang coach Zainal Abidin Hassan, despite Durakovic recently leading the Red Giants to their long-awaited 33rd Malaysia Cup title and while still having one more year in his contract.
