Mid-table side DRB-Hicom have strengthened their side with the acquisition of two local defenders and one import player. Full-back Ahmad Shahir Ismail joins from UiTM, while Ally Imran Samarkhan signs from Putrajaya SPA. The Bees have also met their foreign player quota by adding Japanese midfielder Hayato Hashimoto, who previously played for Chonburi in Thailand.

All three players started in their 2-1 loss to Kuantan last Friday.

To counter the loss of the aforementioned Ally Imran Samarkhan, the current MPL basement-dwellers have brought in ex-Singapore international Precious Emuejeraye, who was without a club after leaving Home United at the end of the 2014 S-League season. The Nigeria-born centre-back made his Putrajaya SPA debut in the 3-1 loss to UiTM last Friday, in which he scored an own goal.

New Australian signing Joel Chianese made his debut on Friday as Sabah lost 4-3 to T-Team. The young striker scored a brace, and takes up the vacant Asian import slot left by Singaporean Fazrul Nawaz’s termination in pre-season.

Over on the east coast, the Titans have also filled their last foreigner spot by adding Josip Milardović to their squad. The Croatian midfielder last played for NK Inter Zaprešić, and started in the win over Sabah last week.

Another new addition is ex-Harimau Muda striker Izzaq Faris Ramlan, who was without a club after Terengganu did not renew his contract due to a long-term knee injury last season. He has been continuing his recovery at Majlis Sukan Negara in Bukit Jalil, and recently joined T-Team, making his debut as a substitute in the Sabah win.

Berita Harian reports that Terengganu have loaned youth goalkeeper Mohamad Izzuddin Mohd Hussin to T-Team, who joins young midfielder Nor Hakim Hassan as a Terengganu loanee at the club.

MPL strugglers Kuantan are rumoured to have signed former-ATM forward Fabrice Noël, according to this tweet from Utusan Malaysia journalist Dayne Azmin. Although, as they already have four foreign players, no word was given on which one is to be dropped. Noël made his debut for S-League side Tampines Rovers in March.
