Kelantan Football Association (KAFA) have announced new faces in the coaching line-up for Kelantan next season.
President of KAFA, Tan Sri Annuar Musa, revealed that despite failing to win any trophies last season, George Boateng still remains as Kelantan’s head coach.
According to Sinar Harian, Annuar said “Boateng will be assisted by two A License coaches, Hashim Mustapha and Nafuzi Mahamad Zain. Former President’s squad coach Sidek Samsuddin will also help Boateng and he has a B-License in coaching.
“Other than Boateng, goalkeeper coach Chawalit Abu Bakar also retains his position, and we also hired a new fitness coach from Croatia, Luka Basic to replace Miro Petric.”
Meanwhile, when asked about the arrival of new import players, Annuar confirmed that they have signed the players, and they will arrive in Kelantan soon.
“The import players will arrive in Kuala Lumpur on November 25th and I will meet them three days later. We also have confirmed our 23 players for next season and will introduce them in December."
After dominating the local football scene for the past few seasons, Kelantan found their form dip in 2014, which saw them fail to win any trophies this year.
