Nigerian-born striker Dickson Nwakaeme, 26, has been picked by the Kelantan Football Association (KAFA) to replace Keita Mandjou in their quest to retain their league championship this season.
Nwakeame, who before this only played in the AFC Cup for Kelantan, has been re-registered in the second transfer starting from April 8 and is expected to play against ATM in their Super League fixture, at Sultan Muhammad IV, Kota Bharu, Kelantan.
According to Utusan, the news of Dickson's re-registration has been confirmed by KAFA's Secretary-general, Azman Ibrahim.
Azman said, other than Dickson, striker Fakri Sa'arani has also been registered after transfering from Portugal.
According to him, the addition of the two players is expected to add more firepower upfront for the Red Warriors and, it will also give Bojan Hodak more options when choosing strikers.
"The registration for both players has been approved and they both can play in the match against ATM.
"However, it still depends on Bojan how they are going to play," Azman added.
