PFSLJ to hold second press conference today

The dissenting fans movement ‘Presiden FAM Sila Letak Jawatan’ is speaking to the media a second time, this time with new demands.

The underground fan movement, ‘Presiden FAM Sila Letak Jawatan’, or PFSLJ, is holding their second press conference at the Bukit Jalil Stadium later today, as revealed by a source close to the organisation.

Their first press conference at the end of December 2012, outlined several demands that include the resignation of the current FAM President, Sultan Ahmad Shah who is also the Sultan of the state of Pahang, along with the reshuffling of the governing body itself.

Today’s press conference will reportedly highlight five demands by PFSLJ, and has been updated to include the recent controversies in the MSL and the national team’s most recent performance.

The source refused to divulge any more information, and finished by saying: “The media should be [at the press conference]. More will be explained then.”

Although their first press conference gained significant traction among local football fans, the movement failed to draw the response that they were hoping from the President.

Speaking to reporters a week later, Sultan Ahmad Shah dismissively claimed that the movement might have been backed by parties with ulterior motives, and that he is a ‘fighter’ who will keep holding on to his post.

It is worth noting that today’s press conference will be organised exactly three months after their first, although the significance of this duration is yet to be ascertained.

Stay with for more updates on this press conference, and an exclusive interview with the organisation later on.
