The Red Warriors will use the services of the two new players to strengthen their frontline when they meet Maziya Sports & Recreation Club at Sultan Muhamad ke-IV Stadium in their first game of the 2013 AFC Cup.
Kelantan Football Association (KAFA) advisor Tan Sri Annuar Musa said that the arrival of the players, Dickson Nwakaeme from Nigeria and Dimitrios Petratos from Australia, will hopefully inspire the team to put in a good perfomance.
Speaking to Astro Arena, Annuar said: "With the import players who are not at their best form, we hope they can create something for the team in preparation for the next leg at the Maldives. We hope to get three points in this game."
Meanwhile, head coach Bojan Hodak believes the experience that Nwakaeme and Pertratos have can help Kelantan secure a win in their AFC debut.
