Wonderkid Nazmi Faiz is hoping that Ong Kim Swee will still consider him for Harimau Muda in the upcoming SEA GamesNazmi Faiz responded to comments made by Harimau Muda head coach Ong Kim Swee, saying that there will be no special treatment for him and that the youngster will only be picked if he performs well with Selangor PKNS in the Malaysian Super League.
However Nazmi did admit that it is hard to play for the Malaysia Under-23 side nowadays, as the current playing squad are really talented.
Speaking to Foxsports.my, Nazmi said: "I still want to help Harimau Muda in the upcoming SEA Games. If I have a chance, I would give my best."
Nazmi also said that he is currently working hard to stay fit despite the fact that he is only allowed to play in the league once April arrives.
"Everything is up to [me]. I believe I can stay fit if I stay focused on training with my teammates," he added.
