Will JDT do a double this year? They are close to achieving it after beating Felda United in a two-legged semi-final to book a spot in the final of the Malaysia Cup.

Two goals from Argentinian sensation Luciano Figueroa and veteran attacker Amri Yahyah was enough for JDT to beat The Settlers 6-5 via aggregate.    Figueroa was particularly impressive as his link - up play with Amri and Jorge Pereyra Diaz was a delight to watch.

His sumptuous free - kick and cool finish off a Diaz pass delighted the home crowd and it was enough to bring them to the final which will be held at Bukit Jalil Stadium, Kuala Lumpur on Nov 1.  They will face reigning champions Pahang.

Figueroa will be important for JDT this final as Bojan Hodak will rely on him for goals. JDT will be without Nazrin Nawi and Aidil Zafuan for the final due to suspension but they have options in their squad. However, Figueroa will be the key man for them and he is expected to torment Pahang's defence in the final.

However, it will not be an easy task as he has to compete with Damion Stewart and Razman Roslan who've been impressive in defence. However, if he continues this momentum, expect Figueroa to be the hero for JDT. Actually,  he is already a hero for many Johor fans!
