Standard Chartered EPL Football Malaysia Cup: The legends are back

EPL legends from Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool come together once again to challenge for the Standard Chartered EPL Football Malaysia Cup

The Standard Chartered EPL Football Malaysia Cup is back and this year’s edition is primed to be better than ever before.

Last year, the Liverpool legends tipped over the Manchester United Legends handing them their second consecutive defeat in the tournament’s final and now, the Red Devils will see to it that history doesn’t repeat itself.

In the 6th instalment of the EPL Football Malaysia Cup, fans can look forward to seeing players such as Liverpool Legends Robbie Fowler, Steve McManaman, Dietmar Hamann and David James; Manchester United Legends Andy Cole, Lee Sharpe, Karel Poborsky and Ronnie Johnson; EPL All Stars Frank Leboeuf, Tore Andre Flo, Dennis Wise and Savo Milosevic and of course, our very own Malaysian Legends.

The tournament is set for April 21 and will tear the roof off Stadium Putra at Bukit Jalil. And just for the fans, a '1 Malaysia' Football Street Carnival will be set up outside the stadium to keep the spirit of football alive on the event day itself.

The carnival will feature autograph signing sessions, competitions, games, music and scrumptious food. Fans can also get a chance to appear on TV and rub shoulders with the legends.

Get ready for an evening of fast-paced football and star-studded line-ups that will surely entertain EPL and football fans alike. As records have shown, there will be goals - lots of them - as the finals last year racked in eight.

The tickets for this event are already on sale as of Sunday, March 11 on Air Asia RedTix.
