The Red Warriors on Friday announced the signing of free agent Brazilian midfielder Wander Luiz Bitencourt Junior. Luiz last played for Thailand's Ratchaburi Mitr Phol in 2015, and has had stints with Buriram, Suphanburi and Korea's Ulsan Hyundai.

Kelantan chairman Tan Sri Annuar Musa wrote on his Facebook page that they had tried signing him in 2015 but the deal eventually fell through. He also averred his hope to see Luiz combine well with Macedonian striker Baže Ilijoski for the East Coast side, who are currently eighth in the Super League.

The Crocodiles announced on their social media that another player has attended the club's trial for a foreign centreback. The player is Liberia defender Teah Dennis, who last played for Al-Ahli Amman.

If the 24-year old manages to convince the Borneo side to sign him, he will be the fifth Liberia international to ply his trade in the Super League this season, alongside Felda United's Zah Rahan Krangar and Francis Doe, Selangor's Patrick Wleh, and former Perak midfielder Erick Weeks Lewis, who has since left the side.
