Premier League side Sabah announced on social media that they have signed Brazilian forward Everton Souza Santos, from Oman's Al-Mussanah Sports Club. The Rhinos, currently in the ninth spot in the league, have given the 32-year old player a six-month contract. This is likely to mean that Nigerian forward Prince Nnake will be dropped by Sabah, to make way for Souza.
According to StadiumAstro.com, Kelantan head coach Velizar Popov has given three foreign players a trial last week, all of which he opted not to sign in the end. All three of them; Noah Olawale Ojuola (22 year old), Jacob Olayemi Ogunnleye (23) and Sani Shehu Emmanuel (23) are Nigerian, and have played in a test match against the Kelantan U21 team according to the report.
The Red Warriors recently dropped Dramane Traore and Jonatan Lucca, who they say will be loaned out to make out way for two new foreign signings.
