Kedah lose Syazwan Tajuddin's service for the rest of the season

Kedah have announced that midfielder Syazwan Tajuddin will be out of action for six months due to an injury.

Super League side Kedah have announced that young midfielder Syazwan Tajuddin will be out of action for six months due to an ACL injury.

Syazwan's injury, suffered during the Red Eagles' second leg FA Cup semifinal match against Johor Darul Ta'zim on April 30, was operated on on Tuesday, added the club on its social media, and he is expected to recover in six months.

In the match which the Southern Tigers won 4-3 on aggregate, Syazwan had to be substituted off just 15 minutes into the match.

The 22-year old, originally a midfielder, has been employed mainly as a defender by Kedah this season, partnering up with South Korean centreback Bang Seung Hwan.

With this news, Kedah are expected to replace Syazwan's spot in the team with another player during the June transfer window.
