That's it for today. Thank you for tuning in!
The result means that Liverpool move up to eighth, seven points off of the top four. Spurs remain in fourth, and are eight points off of rivals and league leaders Arsenal.
A thrilling match between the two sides saw Liverpool start quick and fast, with Salah firing a low shot in the 11th minute. After the goal, Tottenham had many chances to equalise, but failed to do so, with the home side specifically targetting Liverpool's right side. A costly mistake in the 40th minute from Dier however, allowed Salah to double the score. It was all Tottenham in the second-half, and Conte's men had chance after chance to score. The scored one in the 70th minute with substitute Kulusevski making an instant impact, poking the ball to Kane, whose cleverly finished at the tight angle. They continued to get at Liverpool's backline, and had plenty of close calls, but ultimately were unable to find the equaliser they needed, leaving Liverpool to leave North London with all three points.
90' + 4' FULL-TIME: TOTTENHAM 1-2 LIVERPOOL
90' + 4' Tottenham are winless in their last nine Premier League games against Liverpool (D3 L6), since a 4-1 win in October 2017. Only once in their league history have they gone 10 without a win against the Reds, doing so between 1971 and 1976 (D3 L7).
90' + 3' Alisson again makes a big save, and Perisic gets on the rebound, but his shot is well over the bar.
A. Oxlade-Chamberlain
Mohamed Salah
Liverpool
90' + 2' Salah, who scored a brace in the first half, comes off for Oxlade-Chamberlain.
90' We are getting four minutes of added time! Still a chance for Spurs to find a point, or for Liverpool to put this to bed.
89' CLOSE! A cross comes in on from the left, and it rolls of Van Dijk's back. There are a few Spurs players there to poke it home, but none take the chance.
Lucas Moura
Y. Bissouma
Tottenham Hotspur
88' Conte also makes a change, with Bissouma coming off for Moura.
J. Gomez
D. Núñez
Liverpool
87' Klopp makes a defensive substitution to see this out, with Gomez coming on for Nunez.
85' Alisson goes down for a moment after a collision with Doherty, but he's able to continue. Moments earlier, he came up with a HUGE save to deny Bentancur, getting low to ensure the ball doesn't bounce over the line.
83' Nunez takes a shot from inside the box, and it slams across the crossbar, but he's called off for being offside.
81' Fabinho kicks Hojbjerg pretty high up right outside of the box, and he's lucky to get away with one.
79' A corner for Spurs, and Lenglet's header flies just over the bar.
79' Tottenham have had 58.4% possession this half, a huge improvment over the first half, where they only had 35.7%. The home side have been all over Liverpool in this half.
75' A big collision near the box as Kane and Konate are going for the ball. Both stay on the ground for a few moments, but they seem to be OK to continue.
J. Henderson
H. Elliott
Liverpool
74' Elliott also comes off and is replaced by Henderson, Liverpool's captain.
C. Jones
Roberto Firmino
Liverpool
74' It's Klopp's turn to make some changes as he looks to keep this lead. Firmino comes off for Jones.
71' CONTE GETS BOOKED! The Spurs manager gets a yellow from the referee and he is not happy. He wants play to start as quickly as possible, and smacks the ball away from Liverpool's assistant manager.
D. Kulusevski
Assist
Tottenham Hotspur
70' Instant impact from Kulusevski who comes on, and then moments later, provides the assist for Kane.

70' GOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!! IT HAS BEEN COMING! Kane gets the ball before Konate can intercept and fires a low shot from a pretty tight angle into the far post. Game on! TOTTENHAM 1-2 LIVERPOOL
D. Kulusevski
R. Sessegnon
Tottenham Hotspur
68' Sessegnon also makes way for Kulusevski.
M. Doherty
Emerson
Tottenham Hotspur
68' Tottenham make their first changes as they look to get back in this. First, Emerson comes off for Doherty.
66' CHANCE FOR KANE! From a free-kick, Kane's header goes just wide at the far post.
61' Big chance for Salah! He's on the break, and Lenglet is breathing down his neck as he tackles him before he can get the shot off. The flag goes up for offside anyway.
59' Spurs move the ball well, but when Bentancur receives the ball on the right, his cross is hit way to hard, and it ends up on the other end of the pitch, despite there being a flurry of white shirts in the box waiting to receive the ball.
57' Once again, Nunez gets past Spurs backline. This time, he goes for the cutback, but no one is there to get on the end of it.
57' Nunez takes a shot, running across the edge of the box before hitting the ball, but it's a bit too central, and it doesn't trouble Lloris.
55' Alisson once again takes his time to pass the ball out, and Kane this time gets it. But the keeper seems to trip him, and Konate comes in to collect the ball. Very risky play from Alisson there!
54' Liverpool finally go on the attack in this half, and it's almost exactly like the first goal. Nunez lays it off to Salah, who is situated centrally. He shoots, but this time Lloris gets down to make the save.
50' Spurs are all over Liverpool now. Sessegnon curls one in, and it's an inch away from going into the top corner. Moments earlier, Dier mishit a cross into the box that Alisson tipped over the bar, and the Brazilian keeper screams at Robertson for not closing Dier down sooner.
49' SPURS HIT THE CROSSBAR! Some great play from Spurs as Sessegnon lays it off to Perisic, whose shot hits the cross bar. So close for Tottenham!
48' BIG SAVE FROM ALISSON! From a Spurs corner, Dier flicks the ball with his head, and the ball flies on target, but Alisson gets two hands on it and makes the save.
46' Spurs have won more points from losing positions than any other side in the Premier League this season (10), coming from 2-0 down to beat Bournemouth last time out. Since Antonio Conte took charge, only Liverpool themselves (24) have gained more points from behind than Spurs (21), with this game almost a year to the day since the Italian's first league game at the helm (0-0 vs Everton, 7th November 2021).
46' We're back underway for the second half!
As it stands, Liverpool move up to eighth, ahead of Fulham on goal-difference. With Manchester United's loss earlier in the day, Spurs' spot in fourth remains unchanged.
Liverpool came out of the gates quickly, with Nunez getting a handful of chances against Spurs' backline. He ended up assisting Salah's first goal, a calm volley from the middle of the box. Tottenham almost responded right away, with a Perisic shot awkwardly hitting Alisson before smashing against the bar. The visitors' second came five minutes before the break with Dier mistakenly heading the ball straight into the path of Salah, who raised above Lloris and into the back of the net.
45' HALF-TIME: TOTTENHAM 0-2 LIVERPOOL
44' Elliott hits one from distance, and it's a good, low save from Lloris. It was an extremely powerful shot, as you can hear the sound it makes as it hits the keeper's gloves.
40' The goal is an absolute gift from Dier, which is a shame from him as Spurs were doing well on the ball, and getting chances. A much bigger mountain to climb now as half-time approaches.
Mohamed Salah

40' GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLL!!!! SALAH DOUBLES LIVERPOOL'S LEAD! A huge mistake from Dier as he heads the ball into Salah's path. The Liverpool man sprints forward, and gets the better of Lloris! Tottenham 0-2 Liverpool!
39' Elliott seems to be alright. He is back on the pitch and play resumes.
38' Elliott is down after a shove from Davies, and is getting treatment.
34' Spurs attack through the left, and Alexander-Arnold tackles the ball of Sessegnon. It gets to Perisic, and the Liverpool full-back fouls him outside the box on the flank. The resulting free-kick is headed away by Elliott.
33' That could have been costly! Alisson takes his time to pass out, and Kane almost wins the ball back from just outside the box, but he's a touch too slow, and the ball reaches Fabinho.
31' Fabinho's pass is short and Kane intercepts. He tries to find Sessegnon, but Alisson comes out and high kicks it far away from goal.
28' Kanes cross in comes for Perisic, but it's a bit too far for the Spurs player to get his head on it.
27' HUGE CHANCE FOR SPURS! Sessegnon is in acres of space and Alexander-Arnold gets caught out when he receives the ball! He's into the box, but then Konate smoothly comes in and dispossesses the Spurs player!
23' A high cross comes in from Emerson comes into the box, but Alisson leaps over everyone and swiftly punches it away. Spurs have looked better since they conceded, and it's been very back and forth so far.
19' TOTTENHAM WANT A PENALTY! Alexander-Arnold pushes Sessegnon in the box as he's arriving on to the ball, and the Spurs players crowd the referee in protest. Nothing is given though.
14' SPURS HIT THE POST! Tottenham get their first attacking spell of the game as Perisic's header hits Alisson and then rattles against the bar! That would have been some equaliser. Moments later, Allison denies Hojbjerg with a much more comfortable save.
D. Núñez
Assist
Liverpool
11' Nunez gets the assists, and it is deserved given that he's been threatening Spurs' backline relentlessly. Liverpool break, and he receives the ball from Robertson, stretches to control it, and lays it off to Salah.

11' GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLL! TOTTENHAM 0-1 LIVERPOOL! Mohamed Salah opens up the scoring for the reds. He receives the ball right in the middle of the penalty box, takes a touch to open his body up, and volleys it into the back of the net!
7' NUNEZ AGAIN! It's a cross-field pass from Alexander-Arnold, and the striker curls it towards the far post, but it bounces wide.
5' Liverpool counter and Nunez receives the ball in a similar area. He attempts to take on Dier, and he gets past him, but the striker's touch is a bit too heavy, and it goes out for a goal kick.
3' BIG CHANCE FOR LIVERPOOL IN THE OPENING MINUTES! Nunez receives the ball from Robertson and runs towards it on the left flank and into the box. He takes a powerful shot with his right, but Lloris comes up with the big save to deny him. Liverpool try to keep the attack alive, but nothing comes of it.
1' The referee has blown the whistle and we are underway at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium!
The teams are out, and kick-off is moments away.
Liverpool have had more shots than any other side in the Premier League this season (212). However, their shot conversion rate of 10.9% is their lowest across a single campaign since 2015-16 (10%).
Klopp has been boosted with the return of Konate, who once again is in the starting XI for Liverpool. Henderson only makes the bench, with the Liverpool manager opting for Thiago and Elliott in midfield ahead of Fabinho.
Conte's extremely defensive line-up may come from the fact that Heung-min Son suffered a fractured eye socket midweek. With Richarlison also out with a muscle injury and Kulusevski only fit enough for the bench, it means that Kane leads the line alone today, with Perisic operating in the space behind him.

Tottenham will be looking to take the confidence earned in their thrilling 2-1 win away to Marseille in the Champions League. Antonio Conte's men are in fourth, and want to increase the gap between them and fifth-placed Man United. Jurgen Klopp's side however, are in tenth after an incredibly poor start to the season by their standards. After back-to-back league losses against Leeds and Nottingham Forest, they are looking to turn things around.
