Sporting continue their perfect start to their Champions League campaign, then. Tottenham can't take topping Group D for granted. That's all for now. Goodbye!
Sporting go top of Group D for now, having started a Champions League campaign with two wins for the first time ever. The Portuguese side showed grit to ride out spells of Tottenham pressure and made the most of their last opportunities. Spurs stay second. Their confidence will be knocked, but they'll learn from this defeat.
Sporting have scored twice late on to sink Tottenham! Both teams deserved something from this game, and it looked like it was petering out to a goalless draw. Paulinho had other ideas, coming on to score from a corner in injury-time before setting up Gomes to spite Spurs.
90' + 4' FULL-TIME: SPORTING CP 2-0 TOTTENHAM

Pote
Assist
Sporting CP
90' + 1' Pote's ball in there was fantastic. It had just enough fizz on it that Paulinho only needed to guide it into the net. Tottenham will feel sick.
Paulinho
Goal
Sporting CP
90' GOAL! SPORTING CP 1-0 TOTTENHAM! Sporting have stolen the win at the death! Paulinho meets Pote's corner at the near post to flick it into the far bottom corner with his head.
89' Lloris makes an important save to preserve Tottenham's clean sheet! Porro jinks inside onto his left foot and takes aim for the top left corner. The Frenchman dives to his right to put the shot out for a corner. Could that save be worth a point to Spurs?
87' Lloris has some work to do, sweeping up a throughball to plop it out for a Sporting throw-in.
86' Tottenham create a late chance but can't test Adan. Some smart play sets Kulusevski up to cut the ball back from the left. Sporting get in the way of it.
85' Porro swings the free-kick into Tottenham's box. Lloris calmly ventures off his line to claim it.
P. Højbjerg
Yellow Card
Tottenham Hotspur
84' The yellow cards are totting up now. Hojbjerg is the latest offender, cutting across Ugarte after misplacing a pass.
83' Tottenham defend the corner comfortably. Santos' effort is blocked on the way through.
82' Porro goes on another raid down the right for Sporting which results in a corner kick for the hosts. A goal now for either team would really make things interesting.
Emerson
Yellow Card
Tottenham Hotspur
81' Emerson's shown the yellow card for tugging Santos' shirt.
80' Sporting are starting to slow the pace of the game down. Porro digs out a cross from the right, but it's too close to Lloris to concern him.
78' Kulusevski cuts inside to cause Sporting more problems. Emerson goes down in the box as he's challenged, but play's pulled back for an offside decision against him.
77' Kulusevski's looked a threat since coming on. The Swede's latest pass bounces wide of the left-hand post.
Paulinho
Trincão
Sporting CP
76' Sporting substitution. Trincao goes off. Paulinho goes up front for the hosts.
Matheus Reis
Yellow Card
Sporting CP
75' Kulusevski heads for the byline and gets tripped by Reis' sliding tackle. Reis is booked.
74' Perisic uses Davies as a decoy to switch the play to Emerson down Tottenham's right. In the end, Emerson's cross is poor and is easily caught by Adan.
73' Trincao skips past Hojbjerg, who leaves a foot in to catch the winger. Sporting are awarded a free-kick.
D. Kulusevski
Son Heung-Min
Tottenham Hotspur
72' Tottenham make a substitution too. Son, who's been quiet by his standards, is replaced by Kulusevski.
S. Alexandropoulos
H. Morita
Sporting CP
71' Sporting make the game's first substitution. The booked Morita goes off. Alexandropoulos replaces him in central midfield.
71' Perisic's fantastic ball in from the left just eludes the boot of Kane inside the six-yard box! Conte can't believe it down in the technical area.
70' Porro's corner comes out to Morita, whose goalbound effort is blocked. Now it's Tottenham who are having to endure a spell of pressure.
69' Edwards gets the better of Davies and tries to cut the ball back for Pote from the byline. Sporting have to settle for a corner.
67' If a winner's going to come in this game, it may well be from a counter-attack. Pote dashes into space and gives Lloris a simple save to make by shooting from just outside the box.
65' Sporting will feel they've weathered the storm for now. Tottenham have eased off in recent minutes.
H. Morita
Yellow Card
Sporting CP
63' Morita joins Bentancur in the book for a tactical foul on Son. The Japanese midfielder's shown some bite for Sporting.
R. Bentancur
Yellow Card
Tottenham Hotspur
61' Bentancur's shown the game's first yellow card for his cynical tackle on Pote.
60' Bentancur gets beaten by Pote and scythes the Sporting winger down. The Uruguayan will see a card of some kind for that challenge.
58' Tottenham earn a corner down their right through Emerson. Son's delivery comes to nothing.
56' Perisic heads well wide from Emerson's right-wing cross. Edwards has a shot blocked from the centre of Tottenham's box, before Spurs counter and Richarlison cuts inside to plop a shot wide of the left-hand post.
54' Chance for Tottenham! Kane gets loose to the left of Sporting's box and lashes at goal with his left foot. Adan springs into action to push the effort away, and he claims one of his team-mates' nod back to him. Spurs are knocking on the door.
52' Morita stops Hojbjerg to hand Tottenham another free-kick in a central position. This one's floated in by Son for Kane, whose shot is blocked.
50' Tottenham's corner doesn't work out, but that was a promising pair of attacks for the visitors. They've started this second half well.
48' Edwards is back in action straight away, straying offside. Up the other end, Kane's cross from the left is headed at goal by Emerson and pushed away by Adan. Seconds later, Son's tripped by Morita and Kane deceives Sporting with the free-kick, finding Emerson again! Adan blocks his shot with his legs and Spurs get a corner.
46' Sporting get the second half started. Neither side has made changes at half-time.
Tottenham have some thinking to do. They've been OK, but Lloris has been the busier goalkeeper of the two. That said, Spurs have won five of their last six Champions League games when heading into half-time goalless, including their match against Marseille last week. They're fully capable of grinding out a win here.
The players head in for the half-time break. It's been a tight game so far, with both Sporting and Tottenham showing flashes of quality. Richarlison has had a goal ruled out for offside, while Edwards came so close to giving the hosts the lead but for the intervention of Lloris. More to come!
45' + 2' HALF-TIME: SPORTING CP 0-0 TOTTENHAM
45' + 1' What an opportunity for Sporting to take the lead before half-time! Edwards crafts the best chance of the game so far, jinking past several Tottenham defenders and playing a one-two with Trincao to poke the ball at Lloris from inside the six-yard box. The Frenchman makes a brilliant save to keep it out. Spurs survive the corner.
44' Both teams are holding firm as we approach the half-time break. There'll be two minutes of added time at the end of this half.
42' Richarlison skips past the onrushing Adan to put the ball in the net, but the offside flag goes straight up.
40' Pote wins a free-kick in Tottenham's half as he's caught by Dier. Spurs look the better side, but Sporting are by no means making things easy for them.
38' Son shows great feet to stand the ball up from the byline for a team-mate to go for. It doesn't work out this time, but Tottenham aren't being deterred.
36' Edwards fires off-target from outside the box. Meanwhile, Dier drops a pass in behind for Richarlison to chase. The Brazilian's offside again, but his movement is causing Sporting problems.
34' Richarlison darts onto Kane's pass in behind Sporting's defence and looks to square the ball to Son. The cross is cut out, and Richarlison is offside anyway.
32' Tottenham force a corner that doesn't come to much. Bentancur fires a hopeful shot wide from outside the box.
30' Perisic finds Richarlison with a cross into the box. It's nodded on to his compatriot Emerson, whose tame, high shot is caught by Adan.
28' Emerson beats Santos to fizz the ball across the face of the six-yard box. Tottenham can't capitalise on it.
26' The former Wolves player Trincao drags a left-footed shot wide of the post. Lloris probably has it covered anyway.
25' Kane sweeps a pass out to Perisic wide left. The Croatian sends the ball back towards the far post. Richarlison nods a header into the turf and up into the arms of Sporting's goalkeeper Adan.
24' Reis' miskick allows Richarlison to get a shot off on the edge of the box. It's blocked.
22' Richarlison's nice flick almost, but not quite, sets up an attack down Tottenham's right. He looks full of confidence after his brace against Marseille last week.
20' Tottenham are staying patient at the moment, letting Sporting dictate the play. We all know how well Spurs can counter at their best.
18' Sporting play their way into trouble, giving the ball away to Kane. Davies can't keep hold of it though.
16' Hojbjerg spots Emerson's run down the right and attempts to find his team-mate with a pass over the top. It bounces harmlessly out for a Sporting goal-kick.
14' Santos' cross from the left is blocked. Morita swipes at the rebound but can't make a firm connection with the ball. Pote trips Emerson to let Tottenham escape their box.
12' Richarlison's pressing wins the ball for Tottenham but the Brazilian is soon dispossessed himself. Spurs get back into shape in time to prevent Sporting from launching a successful counter-attack.
10' Perisic tries to find Davies down the left with a throughball. The Welshman is offside.
9' Tottenham handle the resulting corner with a minimum of fuss. It's been a promising start to the game here in Lisbon.
7' Chance for Sporting! Edwards dribblbes towards goal and feeds Pote to his left. The Sporting winger shoots for the bottom right corner. Lloris gets low to tip the shot aside.
5' Bentancur receives a pass from Son and has a pop at goal from outside the box. It's blocked.
3' Tottenham look to assert themselves early on, winning two corner kicks in quick succession. Sporting manage to deal with both.
1' The visitors Tottenham get this game underway!
This is the first ever competitive meeting between Sporting and Tottenham in any competition. Sporting are winless in all six of their Champions League meetings against English sides, losing all three home games without scoring a single goal. Spurs will be confident of continuing that record.
Antonio Conte makes one change to the Tottenham team that saw off Marseille. Davies replaces Lenglet at centre-back.
There's just one change to the Sporting team that started the victory over Frankfurt last week. Santos replaces the injured Jeremiah St. Juste. Former Spurs man Edwards leads the line, having become the first Englishman to score for a Portuguese club in the Champions League last time out.

Tottenham started their own Champions League campaign with a victory too, seeing off Marseille 2-0 thanks to two Richarlison headers from crosses. A victory for Spurs here would see them win their first two group stage matches for the first time since 2017-18.
After comfortably beating Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0 in their first group stage match, Sporting are looking to win their first two matches in a Champions League campaign for the first time ever. Despite the scoreline, this game's hosts weren't entirely comfortable being pressed in their own half. No doubt their opponents here will take note.
