Ireland breathe a sigh of relief then, and can look forward to their next campaign in League B. That's all for now. Goodbye!
Ireland finish their Nations League campaign third in Group 1 with seven points. Scotland have earned promotion, while Armenia finish bottom after five straight defeats and are relegated back to League C. The Boys in Green had 20 shots in this match and would have been kicking themselves if they hadn't won it. They did though, and they'll be here for another cycle.
Ireland retain their place in League B after seeing off sorry Armenia! Kenny's men were well worthy of the win but made hard work of it, conceding two goals in two minutes after going 2-0 up early in the second half. Brady's late penalty finally finished off the visitors, who lost their discipline and ended the game with nine men.
90' + 7' Hogan misses the chance to add gloss to Ireland's victory, firing wide from the centre of the box after latching onto Robinson's pass. No matter! Ireland have won anyway!
90' + 5' Spertsyan earns a free-kick in Ireland's half as he's stopped by Doherty. Armenia look unlikely to score again now they're down to nine men.
90' + 3' There'll be a minimum of five added minutes after all this drama. Muradyan handles the ball to give Ireland a free-kick.
R. Brady
Penalty Goal
90' + 1' GOAL! REPUBLIC OF IRELAND 3-2 ARMENIA! After minutes of argument, Brady finally steps up and slots the penalty past Yurchenko into the bottom left corner! It's a lucky break for Ireland, who have been wobbling for a while.
90' ANOTHER RED CARD FOR ARMENIA! Make that nine men Armenia will finish the game with! Dashyan wades into the discussion and is also shown a second yellow card. Armenia have lost their heads. It's a shame, given how quickly they managed to get back into this game.
H. Hambardzumyan
Red Card
89' RED CARD FOR ARMENIA! Hambardzumyan won't leave the issue be and leaves the referee no choice but to show him a straight red card! Armenia will play what remains of this match with 10 men.
H. Hambardzumyan
Yellow Card
89' Hambardzumyan is furious with the referee's decision and talks himself into the book.
88' PENALTY FOR IRELAND! Ireland will get the chance to restore their lead. On second viewing, Bichakhchyan's arm was slightly out as he approached O'Shea. It's an easy penalty for the referee to give.
87' Ireland want a penalty! O'Shea gets the ball in the centre of the box and blasts it against the onrushing Bichakhchyan. Play initially continues, but a VAR check advises the referee to check the pitchside monitor...
S. Hogan
M. Obafemi
86' Obafemi makes way first. His goal may be the one that keeps Ireland in League B. Hogan comes on for the hosts.
85' After looking comfortable all game, Ireland are on the back foot but still getting chances. The hosts win a corner.
83' Bayramyan shoots from the right of the D and watches his shot bounce just wide of the left-hand post. Ireland are living dangerously!

80' Armenia get another free-kick in their own half as Hendrick mishandles Haroyan.
78' Obafemi fouls Grigoryan on the edge of Armenia's box, giving the visitors the chance to pump the ball upfield. Another Armenian goal would relegate Ireland, remember.
A. Browne
J. Knight
76' Knight's game for Ireland is over too. Browne replaces him.
C. Robinson
T. Parrott
76' Ireland react to throwing away their two-goal lead. Robinson replaces Parrott.
76' Ireland almost regain their lead straight away! Brady finds Collins with a cross into the centre of the box. Yurchenko saves the defender's header. Parrott picks up the pieces and finds Hourihane, whose shot is also kept out by the Armenian goalkeeper.
A. Dashyan
Yellow Card
74' Dashyan picks up a yellow card for a tactical foul. Armenia are understandably buoyed by recent events.
E. Spertsyan
73' GOAL! REPUBLIC OF IRELAND 2-2 ARMENIA! Ireland have been stunned! Spertsyan fires home from distance to draw Armenia level from two goals down! Bazunu can't get down low enough to keep the shot out.
A. Dashyan
71' GOAL! REPUBLIC OF IRELAND 2-1 ARMENIA! The ball rebounds from the post and bobbles back out to Dashyan, who finds the bottom left corner. Armenia haven't looked close to scoring all game, and suddenly they have.
71' Armenia hit the post with their first attempt at the game! Bichakhchyan lashes at goal from outside the box, forcing Bazunu to tip the shot onto the woodwork. The trouble's not over for Ireland either...
V. Bichakhchyan
L. Zelaray√°n
69' Armenia substitution. Zelarayan leaves the pitch. Bichakhchyan replaces him.
67' Hendrick fizzes the ball into the six-yard box from the left. It rolls wide to the opposite side of the pitch.
K. Bayramyan
Yellow Card
65' Bayramyan's booked for challenging a decision and saying a bit too much to the referee.
64' The latest shot count is Ireland 14, Armenia 0. There's a gulf in quality between these two sides.
62' Hendrick gets the ball from Knight and fires wide from outside the box. Armenia are still offering very little.
A. Dashyan
J. Monroy
60' Monroy goes off too. Dashyan comes on for Armenia.
T. Voskanyan
H. Mkoyan
60' Armenia make their first changes of the match. Mkoyan goes off first. Voskanyan is his replacement.
58' Calisir hands Ireland their seventh corner of the game. Collins heads off-target from the right of the six-yard box.
56' Ireland keep on looking for goals. Collins shoots from a similar position to earlier, this time dragging his shot wide of the left-hand post.
54' It looks like Armenia are heading straight back to League C at the moment. They still haven't had a shot on goal yet.
D. O'Shea
52' O'Shea's quick pass into Obafemi's feet was good, but what the forward did with it next was excellent. Ireland are looking very comfortable now.
M. Obafemi
52' GOAL! REPUBLIC OF IRELAND 2-0 ARMENIA! Obafemi gets on the end of O'Shea's pass, turns Haryovan outside the box, and lashes the ball low into the bottom left corner of the net. That's a great goal by the Swansea City striker!
C. Hourihane
J. Molumby
52' Molumby shakes his head as he's taken off. Ireland are taking no chances with the midfielder on a booking. Hourihane replaces him.
51' Ireland get a corner down their right. Again, Brady finds O'Shea at the far post. This time, the defender goes for goal himself and nods off-target.
49' Brady races forward down the left and fires a low cross into the box that deflects into the arms of Yurchenko.
47' Armenia have come out looking slightly more lively. Bayramyan trips Brady to stop the Ireland wing-back from getting past him.
46' Ireland get the second half going. Neither team has made changes at half-time.
Armenia didn't have a single shot in that first half, which shows how sturdy Ireland have been at the back. The Boys in Green are great at keeping things tight. They haven't conceded a first-half goal in all six of their games in this Nations League campaign. Another goal for Kenny's men should be enough to seal their victory.
Ireland go in at the break with a narrow lead thanks to Egan's header from a corner. It's been a breeze of a first half for the Irish, who haven't been worried by Armenia in the slightest. If we're being critical, the hosts have been good enough to be further ahead.
45' + 1' Obafemi holds the ball up for Ireland on the edge of the box. Doherty's double drag-back nearly allows him to shoot, but Armenia tighten up in time to stop him before he does. That's all for now.
45' O'Shea overruns with the ball down Ireland's left and gets knocked off it. He looks for a free-kick but it's not forthcoming.
43' Brady fires the ball towards the box from the left wing. It's not the greatest delivery, and Armenia clear it.
41' Monroy's blocked off by Doherty as he tries to break down the left. Ireland's right wing-back is more than happy to accept the foul being given.
39' Armenia manage to win their first corner of the game. It doesn't lead to anything, but that's better from the visitors.
38' Brady takes another Ireland corner. This one's poor and easily dealt with by Armenia.
36' Ireland earn another corner down their left. This one's taken short, but the offside flag soon goes up against Brady.
35' Brady's corner comes to nothing as a free-kick's given Armenia's way. Ireland resume their dominance and Yurchenko flaps at Hendrick's cross from the right. Brady swings at goal with his weaker right foot. His effort's blocked.
33' Doherty reaches a far-post cross to shoot first time. It's blocked. Seconds later, Knight plays a one-two with Parrott and blasts a shot against a defender to win Ireland another corner.
31' Armenia are going nowhere fast. It feels like it's a matter of time until Ireland create another decent scoring opportunity.
J. Molumby
Yellow Card
29' Molumby's booked for his poorly timed challenge on Zelarayan. He'll have to curb his aggression now.
28' Molumby raises his boot and catches Zelarayan near the midriff. That's a reckless challenge.
26' Hendrick almost finds Parrott through the middle but can't free the 20-year-old. Ireland are well on top.
24' Armenia enjoy their first real spell on the ball. Zelarayan is unable to get past Collins.
22' Molumby fouls Grigoryan, giving Armenia the chance to escape their own half. They've barely been out of it yet.
20' That's Egan's second goal for Ireland in this Nations League cycle, more than any other Irish player in the competition. The hosts have scored in four straight Nations League games now.
R. Brady
18' Brady's inswinging delivery was excellent. It was easy for Egan to get on the end of it to hand Ireland a deserved lead.
J. Egan
18' GOAL! REPUBLIC OF IRELAND 1-0 ARMENIA! Brady whips the corner in with his left foot. Egan gets across his man to attack it and powers it into the far bottom corner with his head!
17' Knight gets on the end of Doherty's pass and has a shot blocked from the centre of the box, allowing Ireland to force another corner down their right...
16' Ireland have had 81 per cent possession in the opening 15 minutes. They've been dominant.
14' Brady swings the corner towards the far post. O'Shea heads it back into the six-yard box and Egan stretches his neck to flick it wide! That could easily have been 1-0 Ireland.
13' Parrott shows good feet to receive the ball on the turn and bustle into the box to earn a corner for Ireland.
11' Chance for Ireland! Knight has the time and space to drift down the left, check onto his right foot and plop a cross on the head of Obafemi, who nods wide of the right-hand post.
9' Molumby jinks through the middle and takes knocks from two Armenia players. Neither results in a free-kick and the visitors eventually clear.
7' Zelarayan wins a free-kick in his own half as he's clipped by Brady. It's all Ireland so far.
5' Collins sweeps the ball way over the crossbar from outside the box. No one's created more chances for Ireland in this edition of the Nations League than the Wolves defender.
3' Ireland are getting settled on the ball early on. Contrary to pre-match reports, Armenia are lined up in a 5-3-2 formation.
1' Armenia get this game underway!
The last meeting between these two teams back in June saw Ireland lose 1-0 in Armenia. A similar result here would relegate the Irish. Thankfully for the hosts, they've lost just one of their previous eight home internationals so will be confident of securing the draw they need to stay up. But will they?
There are three changes to Armenia from their heavy defeat last time out. Haroyan, Spertsyan, and Monroy are the incomers.
Ireland boss Stephen Kenny makes two changes to his team from their loss to Scotland. Hendrick and Brady are trusted to start.

Ireland's rivals for relegation are Armenia, who suffered a 5-0 thumping at home to Ukraine last time out. The Armenians have dropped off massively in the Nations League lately, losing each of their last four games and conceding 14 goals in that run. They need an win here to stay in League B; anything less would keep Ireland up.
Following their 2-1 defeat away to Scotland last time out, Ireland remain at risk of Nations League relegation. The Boys in Green have won just one of their 15 games in the competition, but they have at least scored in each of their last three, giving them hope they may escape demotion to League C.
