Commentary

That's all for our coverage, goodbye!
Celtic fall further behind to Rangers and remain second in the league. They host Hibernian after their winter break trip to Dubai. Meanwhile, Rangers look set to win their first league title in 10 years as they remain unbeaten. Gerrard's side face an away trip to Aberdeen next in the league.
It wasn't a classic but Rangers got the job done thanks to help from Bitton's red card and a McGregor own goal. Celtic will be kicking themselves for not taking advantage of their early pressure, whilst Rangers will be thrilled with the three points and clean sheet as they extend their lead at the top to 19 points despite Celtic's three games in hand. The title looks to be over already.
90' + 4' FULL TIME: Rangers 1-0 Celtic
B. Barker
J. Ayodele-Aribo
90' + 2' Aribo is replaced by Barker in the final minutes as Gerrard makes his final change.
90' There will be four additional minutes at the end of this half.
90' Celtic will be kicking themselves after not making the early pressure count in this match and now finding themselves about to fall further behind Rangers who will take a 19 point lead at the top of the table unless the visitors can find a goal from somewhere.
88' Davis has done really well to settle the home side down and get them playing on the front foot after the red card.
B. Zungu
R. Kent
87' Kent is replaced by Zungu. Kent has had a really good game for the home side despite not getting on the scoresheet.
T. Rogić
C. McGregor
84' Rogic comes on to replace McGregor for the final few minutes of this game. Rogic has won 10 of his 13 Old Firm matches and will be hoping he can turn things around late on in this one.
81' Duffy's poor clearance falls to Kent who cuts inside and drives the ball at goal but Duffy recovers and blocks the shot for a throw.
B. Barišić
Yellow Card
79' Barisic hauls down Frimpong and picks up the sixth booking of the game.
C. Itten
A. Morelos
77' Morelos is replaced by Itten. A smart move by Gerrard after Morelos was just booked knowing his history of red cards. There is still no goal in 14 encounters against Celtic for the Colombian striker.
C. McGregor
Yellow Card
75' McGregor is another player booked amongst the brawl that broke out following Duffy's tackle on Kent. Neil Lennon will be praying to the gods that no more of his players get sent off.
A. Morelos
Yellow Card
75' Morelos is booked for acting out against a number of Celtic players after the challenge from Duffy on Kent started a pushing match between the teams.
S. Duffy
Yellow Card
75' Duffy picks up a booking for a late tackle on Kent and all of a sudden it's all kicked off between Morelos and Brown.
75' CLOSE! The ball falls to Elyounoussi on the edge of the box and his volleyed effort just dips over the bar.
H. Elhamed
R. Christie
73' Christie is replaced by Elhamed as the away side look to freshen things up in midfield. Celtic are still in this game but they're up against it now after conceding.
S. Brown
I. Soro
72' Soro is replaced by Brown in midfield. Soro was on a booking and Lennon can't afford to lose another player as they're now a man and a goal down.
C. McGregor
Own Goal
70' GOALLL! It's an own goal by McGregor! Tavernier's corner finds Aribo who flicks it on and the ball comes off McGregor's shoulder into his own net. Rangers take the lead against the run of play and Celtic now face a massive task to take anything from this game after the red card.
67' 6 - There have now been six red cards in the last seven Old Firm derby matches. Feisty.
66' Edouard is now the lone striker with two banks for four behind him. It's a big task for the French forward who will be feeding on scraps for the remainder of this game.
M. Elyounoussi
D. Turnbull
65' Turnbull is replaced by Celtic's top scorer this season, Elyounoussi, as the visitors shuffle the pack after going down to 10 men.
S. Duffy
L. Griffiths
65' Griffiths is replaced by Duffy as Neil Lennon makes a change to the system after the red card.
64' Tavernier whips in a dangerous cross but no one can get on the end of it and the ball zips out for a goal kick.
N. Bitton
Red Card
62' RED CARD! Bitton is sent off for hauling down Morelos as the striker was through on goal. A really silly challenge to make and now Rangers may fancy themselves to find a winner.
60' GREAT TACKLE! Edouard breaks into the penalty box and fires a shot at goal but Balogun slides in and blocks the effort before Goldson cleans up and clears the ball away from danger.
59' Gerrard may look to bring on Defoe if Morelos continues to have a poor game up front.
56' Aribo drills the ball into Morelos on the penalty spot and he tries to shoot on the turn but Ajer blocks the shot behind for a corner.
53' Morelos hasn't been able to hold the play up at all for the home side all day so far. A key reason as to why Rangers have struggled to form any sort of attacking opportunity against a solid Celtic defence.
50' Hagi cuts inside on his left foot and tries his luck from range but the ball spins wide of the far post. A good move by the substitute with the first sign of intent from Rangers this half.
49' Aribo gives away a foul and Celtic regain possession again. The visitors have started where they left off in the first half, pressing high up the pitch and not giving Rangers any time on the ball.
I. Hagi
K. Roofe
46' Roofe is replaced by Hagi at half time after a poor display in his first Old Firm derby. Gerrard had to make a change in attack with either Morelos or Roofe making way as they never looked to cause any problems.
46' We're underway for the second half.
As things stand, Rangers will remain 16 points clear at the top of the table and extend their unbeaten run in the league to 22 games. Meanwhile, Celtic really need to find a goal to begin to close the gap on the league leaders if they're to have any chance of turning their season around.
Celtic have been much the better side in the first half but haven't been able to find a goal for their efforts. McGregor's world class save keeps the score level at the break which will please the home side after a poor showing in the first half from Gerrard's side.
45' + 1' HALF TIME: Rangers 0-0 Celtic
45' Goldson is put under pressure by Edouard and the defender has to settle for conceding a corner. Turnbull's delivery finds Bitton but his header is wide.
43' Laxalt does really well to win the ball off of Morelos as the Colombian looked to be through on goal. Morelos is still looking for his first goal in an Old Firm derby after 13 appearances.
I. Soro
Yellow Card
41' Soro is booked for a poor tackle on Barisic. Soro was never going to win that challenge and is awarded Celtic's first booking of the game.
S. Davis
Yellow Card
39' Davis is booked for a late challenge on Ajer as the defender drove out of defence. Davis just caught Ajer on the ankle with his studs and receives the first booking of the match.
37' 71% - Rangers have recorded the lowest pass completion percentage so far this season in today's game against Celtic. Sloppy.
36' Kamara attempts to win the ball back but his tackle puts Griffiths through and his shot drifts just wide of the post.
33' Kent and Roofe have swapped wings in an effort to change things up against the Celtic fullbacks. Gerrard may be thinking about a change at half time with the way things have gone in the first half.
30' It's been a dominant opening half an hour for Celtic who have looked the much better side so far. The diamond formation is working wonders for them in terms of being able to press high up the pitch and also offering options for a pass against the midfield three of Rangers.
27' Morelos is fouled just inside the Celtic half allowing Rangers to breathe after another long spell of pressure from the visitors. Steven Gerrard was just calling Kent and Roofe to drop back a bit further to try and offer options when they win the ball back.
24' Aribo is really struggling to keep up with the pace of this game. He continues to play sloppy passes and gives possession away cheaply in dangerous areas in midfield.
22' OFF THE POST! Griffiths whips a shot towards the top corner but Allan McGregor pulls off a brilliant save to tip the ball onto the post and behind for a corner! Absolutely stunning goalkeeping from the Rangers 'keeper!
20' UNLUCKY! Rangers put together their first spell of pressure and it almost ends in a goal after some good play from Kent and Aribo, the ball dropped to Morelos on the penalty spot and his spin and shot is well saved.
18' Celtic win a corner after Frimpong did well to drive into the penalty box and his deflected shot looped up and out behind the goal.
15' Celtic continue to press high up the pitch and it's causing all sorts of problems for the Rangers defence. Soro is doing a brilliant job so far of winning the ball back quickly whenever the home side look to break out on the counter-attack.
13' McGregor drills a shot from the edge of the box but he pulls it just wide of the post. Rangers need to wake up.
12' Celtic are dominating possession in the opening 15 minutes of this game. Rangers haven't been able to get going at all which will be a worry for Steven Gerrard.
9' Neil Lennon will be encouraged by his side's start to this game. They haven't allowed Rangers time on the ball and made sure they haven't allowed them to gain any rhythm or possession.
6' Griffiths tries his luck from the edge of the box and almost catches McGregor out with the shot but Rangers clear the ball away to safety.
4' Morelos is lucky to escape a yellow card after standing on Frimpong's ankle in a late tackle.
3' GREAT SAVE! McGregor drives forward for Celtic and feeds Edouard who takes a shot towards the far post but McGregor does well to dive to his left and thwart the effort. The follow-up by McGregor is pulled back for offside and Rangers survive an early scare.
2' Celtic have made a quick start to this match winning a series of early throws down the Rangers right side.
1' Rangers get us underway at Ibrox.
The teams are making their way out onto the pitch. Kick-off is moments away at Ibrox.
Tavernier has the most goals and assists in the league this season (11 goals, 8 assists). The English defender has been a key player in Rangers impressive season so far.
Neil Lennon makes one change from the 3-0 victory against Dundee United with Christopher Julien dropping out of the starting line-up for Nir Bitton in the defence.
