That's all from Old Trafford today, so thank you for joining us and goodbye!
After a typically intense domestic affair, both sides' next outing will come in continental competition: Arsenal travel to Zurich for their first Europa League fixture, while buoyant United tackle Real Sociedad.
Showing the ruthless precision that their visitors lacked today, Manchester United end Arsenal's perfect start to the Premier League season by picking off the Gunners, with Rashford back in form and big-money buy Antony enjoying a goalscoring debut. After a shaky start, Arteta's men - who still lead the table, but have had their lead cut this weekend - had most of the ball, but were ultimately unable to make it six wins on the spin. It's United's day, and the Ten Hag revolution continues to gather pace.
90' + 4' Putting his laces through a bouncing ball on the edge of the box, Vieira has a shot saved comfortably by De Gea in the centre of the goal. That's that!
C. Eriksen
Yellow Card
90' + 4' For taking too long to put in a late corner, Eriksen picks up a needless yellow card for time-wasting.
90' + 2' In the second minute of at least four added for stoppages, Jesus juggles the ball clear of two defenders and feeds Smith Rowe. However, the substitute gets beneath his effort and sees it spiral over the top.
90' As the last man, defending a wicked low ball into the six-yard box by Vieira, McTominay diverts the ball over the bar and concedes a corner.
89' Able to complete another positive shift at left-back, Malacia is back on the pitch and the game goes on.
88' After taking a whack from Saka by the corner flag, Malacia is down on the pitch receiving some treatment. With time ticking down to the final whistle, the action is brought to a halt.
B. Saka
Yellow Card
87' In his latest coming-together with Malacia, Saka thunders into an ill-timed tackle and is then shown a yellow card.
86' A lazy swing at the ball by Vieira from the edge of the area sends the ball whistling a yard over the top of De Gea's goal, to the audible delight of the United fans.
85' A dinked pass by Jesus hits Nketiah on the chest inside the box, but as he seeks to take it in his path, the Arsenal striker sees his progress checked by Maguire.
83' From the free-kick, Xhaka clips the top of United's defensive wall, and the ball is then cleared away. The hosts almost work an opening for Ronaldo on the break, but a stray pass leaves the veteran forward frustrated.
H. Maguire
Yellow Card
81' Struggling to get up to the pace of the game, having just come on, Maguire hauls back Jesus outside the area and is shown a yellow card.
T. Tomiyasu
B. White
80' Arsenal make a change at full-back, as White is replaced by Tomiyasu.
M. Rashford
80' After an excellent day's work, and now carrying a slight knock, Rashford is withdrawn; Casemiro comes on.
H. Maguire
Lisandro Martínez
80' Ten Hag takes the opportunity to make a late double switch. First, Martinez makes way for Maguire at the back.
Gabriel Jesus
Yellow Card
76' Jesus is booked by the referee.
C. Eriksen
75' Presented with the chance to run into space, Eriksen bides his time and plays a perfectly placed low pass into the path of Rashford to score.
M. Rashford
75' RASHFORD AT THE DOUBLE! Springing Arsenal's high line, United find themselves two on one inside the opposition half, and Eriksen keeps characteritically cool to slot the ball through for Rashford inside the box. The United striker does not pause, slamming the ball past Ramsdale and into the net for the Red Devils' third. It's 3-1!
Fábio Vieira
A. Lokonga
74' Arsenal's third change sees Sambi Lokonga make way for Vieira.
E. Nketiah
O. Zinchenko
74' Zinchenko is replaced by a more attacking option, as Nketiah comes on for the closing stages.
E. Smith Rowe
M. Ødegaard
73' Desperate to get his side back into the game, Arteta makes a triple substitution. First, Odegaard makes way for Smith Rowe.
71' CLOSE! Whipping a curling shot just past the far post, Jesus tries to beat De Gea from the left side of the box, but narrowly misses the target!
S. McTominay
Yellow Card
71' For hauling Jesus to the ground as he sought to escape on the break, McTominay is deservedly booked by the referee.
69' SAVE! With a slack pass, Ramsdale gifts the ball to Fred just outside his penalty area, but then immediately redeems himself by making a save low down to deny Fernandes United's third goal!
J. Sancho
67' Sancho finishes his shift early, as Fred comes on to stiffen up United's midfield.
Bruno Fernandes
66' Fernandes picked out Rashford with an incisive ball through the middle, and the striker did the rest.
M. Rashford
66' UNITED BACK IN FRONT! Keeping a cool head in a one-on-one with Ramsdale, Rashford slips the ball beneath his England colleague with a tidy close-range finish, having been released through the centre by Fernandes' direct pass. They've got their lead back - it's 2-1 to United!
63' A throughball from Eriksen is perfectly weighted to release Rashford, but the flag goes up for offside and Arsenal breathe again.
62' Remarkably, Saka's strike was Arsenal's 10th in a row scored by a player's left foot.
B. Saka
60' ARSENAL ARE LEVEL! Finally, after pushing without any joy, the Gunners equalise on the hour mark! After the ball breaks off Jesus inside the box, Saka steps up to sweep it home into the centre of De Gea's goal from close range! It's 1-1, and that means it's all to play for!
Cristiano Ronaldo
58' After enjoying a dream debut, Antony must make way for a more established figure as Ronaldo comes on.
58' Odegaard's free-kick, swung in towards the penalty spot with his left boot, is cleared away by the hosts' massed defence.
57' A running battle betweeen Malacia and Saka on United's left flank continues to build, and the former brings down his opponent with a challenge just outside the area. That'll be a free-kick for Arsenal in a dangerous area.
55' OFF THE BAR! As soon as the action resumes after Saka's injury, Arsenal build a slick passing move through midfield, which ends with Saka reaching the left byline and standing a ball up towards the back post. Inadvertently, he clips the top of the crossbar and it drops behind for a goal-kick!
53' Following his attempt at goal, Saka has taken a knock and requires attention from the Arsenal medics. The game comes to a halt.
52' DOUBLE MISS! Two golden chances go by for Arsenal, as after Odegaard makes a hash of finishing a smart move inside the area, Saka flashes a powerful low shot wide of the left-hand post from a tight angle on the right!
50' The pattern established in the final 20 minutes of the first half has resumed immediately after the break: Arsenal stream forward, while United stay in shape.
48' Turning down the chance to shoot from the left corner of the box, Jesus attempts to dribble through a thicket of red shirts instead and Arsenal ultimately lose the ball.
47' Fernandes is penalised for a high boot when challenging with Sambi Lokonga, and Arsenal have a free-kick in central midfield.
46' Arsenal kick off, and we are back under way at Old Trafford!
Precedent is not exactly on their side as United aim to wrap up maximum points after the interval, as they have kept only one clean sheet in their last 16 Premier League meetings with Arsenal; winning just one of the last eight.
They have certainly ridden their luck at times - with Arsenal coming close on a couple of occasions and being denied a Martinelli 'goal' by the VAR - but Manchester United are in front at half-time and are indebted to their latest big-money buy. Antony's strike separates the sides, but it came amid a 20-minute spell where the visitors dominated both territory and the ball. Having demonstrated much more resilience in recent matches, can Ten Hag's men hold out for three points, or will the Gunners fire back and make it six wins on the spin?
45' + 2' Clearly confident following his debut goal, Antony has a left-footed strike from outside the box saved fairly comfortably by Ramsdale. That should be that for the first half.
45' + 1' Due to a couple of pauses for injuries, there are three additional minutes indicated by the officials, and the home side will be eager to hold out for the remaining moments and preserve their lead until the interval.
44' An ambitious effort by Saka sends the ball well off target from outside the area. He never looked set to shoot there, and it showed in the final result.
43' The action resumes, as Rashford returns from the touchline, and Arsenal immediately pick up the attacking rhythm they had been building before his injury stopped play.
42' The game comes to a halt, as Rashford receives treatment on the pitch, having gone back down when the opportunity arose.
41' Arsenal push on relentlessly for an equaliser, as Rashford lies prone on the Old Trafford turf. As the attack finally fizzles out, the United striker makes his way back to his feet, but still lokks a little unsteady.
39' Another opening for Martinelli is lost when Zinchenko just fails to pick out his colleague on the left flank with a throughball towards the byline.
37' Odegaard takes a short free-kick, instead of loading it into the box, but when Saka picks up the ball on the edge of the area, his low shot is heavily deflected into De Gea's waiting gloves.
M. Rashford
35' Receiving the ball tightly marked by two men, Rashford showed awareness to slip a low pass through for Antony on the right side of the area; setting up the opening goal.
35' UNITED LEAD! It's Antony, of course! On his debut, the newly-signed winger picks up a smart throughball from Rashford inside the area and passes the ball accurately into the bottom-left corner without any hesitation! Ramsdale is well beaten, and United go a goal ahead: 1-0 at Old Trafford!
32' SHARP STOP! De Gea keeps the scores level, with a save to deny Martinelli's header from the left side of the six-yard box! He actually puts the ball back into a dangerous area, but United ultimately escape! It's all going one way now: Arsenal continue to press for an opening goal, with their hosts pinned back inside the defensive third.
30' SAVE! A slick passing move which started with Ramsdale ends on the left side of United's penalty area, as Martinelli gets to the byline and tries to beat De Gea at his near post. A deflection off Dalot makes it more awkward for the goalkeeper, who has to turn the ball behind for a corner.
28' United's captain today, Fernandes makes his way back into the action from the touchline, as a lively first half continues apace.
26' Sambi Lokonga escapes censure, despite raking his studs down the calf of Fernandes in midfield, and the latter goes down requiring medical attention.
W. Saliba
Yellow Card
25' As Sancho streaks away on the counter, Saliba halts his progress with a foul and takes the game's first booking.
23' Arsenal are growing steadily into the game and make good progress on the right through Odegaard and Saka. The latter is then tackled by Martinez near the byline, but it was a hair's breadth away from a potential penalty.
21' After working a little space, Antony lets fly with an attempt from outside the area, on the right. It lacks control, however, and spirals into the stand behind Ramsdale's goal.
19' From a Saka cross, Jesus sends his header over the crossbar - it was a tight angle. The visitors still pose a threat, for all United's dominance.
16' United continue to zip the ball around confidently, with their rhythm hardly broken by coming close to being a goal down. Arsenal are content to soak it up at this stage, and then spring on the counter.
14' With 79 per cent of possession and a passing accuracy rate of 90 per cent so far, Manchester United are making an impressive start to this game.
12' NO GOAL! After viewing several angles, the VAR asks the on-field referee to check the pitchside monitor. Not long after he does, the original decision is changed: there was a foul on Eriksen by Odegaard, and Martinelli's goal is ruled out!
11' ARSENAL LEAD? A superb run and finish from Martinelli looks to have put the Gunners ahead, after Saka slipped a well-weighted ball through the middle. Eriksen was dispossessed in the centre circle, and Arsenal pounced - with the Brazilian drilling the ball straight into the bottom corner! The VAR has intervened, though, and will analyse the build-up for a foul.
9' MISS! Arsenal streak up the other end and, following a free-kick, the ball falls into the path of Saliba, whose shot from the centre of the area flies over the crossbar. A good chance spurned!
8' CLOSE! Play is re-started with a drop-ball, and the home side are straight into an attack down the right. Dalot and Antony combine, and the former swings over a delicious cross to the back post for Eriksen. However, he can only volley his effort into the side-netting from close range!
6' Three separate attempts by Antony to get the ball into the box from the right are repelled by Arsenal's defence, before Jesus goes down following a challenge, having banged his head on the ground. The game is brought to a halt while he receives medical attention.
4' Arsenal now get on the front foot, after Jesus wins a free-kick on the right wing, but they fail to make the most of it and United are able to clear their lines.
2' A bright start for the hosts sees Dalot finding himself on the left side of the Arsenal area, but after he dances past two men with some smart footwork, his cutback is cleared away from near the penalty spot by Sambi Lokonga.
1' Manchester United kick off, and we are under way at the Theatre of Dreams!
The teams are out on the pitch at a packed Old Trafford, and kick-off is now just moments away!
A solitary swap is all that Arteta makes, too, as the side that started against Aston Villa on Wednesday remains in place, excepting Zinchenko's return for Tierney at left-back. Zinchenko joins goalkeeper Ramsdale and captain Odegaard in the team, despite fitness doubts surrounding all three before kick-off. Jesus starts up front, but the former Manchester City striker has yet to score against today's hosts.
Making a single change to the United side that saw off Leicester in midweek, Ten Hag throws recent recruit Antony straight in at the deep end, and the Brazil winger replaces Elanga for this clash with the Premier League leaders. Fellow new boy Dubravka takes a spot on the Old Trafford bench, alongside Maguire, Shaw and Ronaldo. Rashford starts up front again, while Martial remains sidelined by injury.
SUBS: Matt Turner, Eddie Nketiah, Emile Smith Rowe, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Cedric Soares, Fabio Vieira, Rob Holding, Marquinhos, Kieran Tierney.
ARSENAL (4-2-3-1): Aaron Ramsdale; Ben White, Gabriel Magalhaes, William Saliba, Oleksandr Zinchenko; Albert Sambi Lokonga, Granit Xhaka; Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Martinelli; Gabriel Jesus.

After continuing their own winning streak with a 2-1 victory over Aston Villa last time out, Arsenal remain the only Premier League team with a 100 per cent record. As a result, Mikel Arteta's men are sitting at the summit: one point clear of arch-rivals Tottenham and champions Manchester City, with today's game still in hand. However, the Gunners have won just one league game at Old Trafford in their last 15 attempts.
Manchester United's 1-0 win over the Premier League's bottom club Leicester City on Thursday was their third victory in a row since making a sluggish start to the season. In all, Erik ten Hag's side have taken nine points from a possible 15 so far, but have found the net only five times in the process. After making some late moves in the transfer market, the Red Devils are aiming to maintain their improving form today, against opponents they generally get the better of on home soil.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of today's Premier League clash between Manchester United and Arsenal at Old Trafford!
