Final Tournament

That's all for now though, goodbye!
For Kosovo, their attention now turns to the play-offs to reach the European Championships after a promising qualifying campaign. England, on the other hand, will now be planning for the tournament itself after securing top spot in Group A.
Well, England pick up a confidence-boosting away win to wrap up their qualifying campaign, and - despite the scoreline - this was a strong test for the away side. Kosovo started in the ascendancy and almost took the lead early on through Nuhiu's header. However, England weathered the storm and stabilised the game before taking the lead through Winks' calm finish towards the end of the half. Kosovo started strongly again in the second period and had many chances through Rrahmani to equalise from set-pieces. Similarly to the first 45 though, England held on before capitalising a tiring defence to extend their lead. First Kane volleyed in at the back post, before Rashford added to the scoreline with an assured finish and then Mount finally completed the win after a mistake from Dresevic.
90' + 2' FULL TIME: Kosovo 0-4 England
H. Kane
90' + 1' Kane continued to hassle the Kosovo defence into stoppage time and he was rewarded by a slip up from Dresevic, which allowed him to selflessly play Mount through on goal!
M. Mount
90' + 1' ENGLAND GET A FOURTH! Kane reacts quickly to a slip from Dresevic on the edge of the are and he capitalises by slipping Mount through who rolls a simple finish beyond Muric under little pressure!
88' England are looking to just calmly see this game out and they're enjoying a period of sustained possession now with little resistance.
86' Well, Kosovo looked as though they were tiring and England have made their extra energy count with two quick goals in the last ten minutes. This was always the danger as the hosts were forced to commit extra players forward in search of an equaliser.
F. Tomori
T. Alexander-Arnold
84' Alexander-Arnold is replaced by Tomori as England experiment a little after securing a comfortable lead.
R. Sterling
83' Sterling has been a constant threat on the counter-attack all game and he makes Kosovo pay by scurrying past a number of challenges in the middle of the pitch before setting up Rashford with a selfless throughball.
M. Rashford
83' ENGLAND SCORE A THIRD! The away side are looking confident now and they counter-attack again with Sterling's enterprising run through the centre of the pitch, before he slips Rashford in behind who curls a low finish first time into the bottom corner just inside the box!
E. Rashani
A. Nuhiu
82' Nuhiu comes off for Rashani as Kosovo look for two late goals.
H. Kane
79' ENGLAND GET A SECOND! 2-0! Sterling jinks past Rashica down the right before drilling in a cross that forces Aliti into a hurried clearance that he miscues towards the back post, where Kane is on hand to firmly volley in that crucial second goal for England!
77' Nuhiu receives a pass just inside the box, but he has little space to work with and his eventual shot drifts well wide.
75' Kosovo almost equalise! The hosts break quickly from a poor England free-kick and Rashica bursts forward before playing a quick one-two with Halimi that releases the former through on goal! Just as he enters the box, Pope slips and it looks as though it'll be a certain goal, but Rice tracks back brilliantly to slide in and clear the danger!
E. Zhegrova
F. Hadërgjonaj
73' Hadergjonaj is replaced by Zhegrova as Kosovo search for more of a threat on their right flank.
M. Mount
A. Oxlade-Chamberlain
72' Oxlade-Chamberlain is replaced by Mount after a sharp display that included the crucial assist for Winks' goal.
70' Kosovo really seem as though they're missing a spark going forward from Vedat Muriqi today. The Fenerbahce attacker missed out on this game through injury after being directly involved in six of Kosovo's last ten goals in the qualifying campaign.
68' Kosovo look like they're just starting to tire after an electric start to the second half. England are beginning to enjoy more and more possession with the hosts being restricted to quick forays forward.
67' Rashford nutmegs Vojvoda elegantly before dribbling ominously into the box, where Dresevic meets him with a stern tackle to shut down the danger.
B. Halimi
V. Berisha
65' Berisha is replaced by Halimi as the hosts look for more energy in midfield.
63' England are starting to break away frequently now and the latest counter-attack ends with Kane slipping Sterling in behind, but Rrahmani recovers to slide in and dispossess the attacker just as the move looked truly threatening.
61' England hit the post! The away side make another foray forward through Chilwell and Rashford, before the former drills a shot from just inside the box that Muric does well to parry away from goal. However, Sterling picks up the rebound before cutting a pass back to Kane who slams a shot against the post from eight yards!
M. Rashford
C. Hudson-Odoi
59' That was Hudson-Odoi's last act before being replaced by Rashford on the left-wing.
58' Hudson-Odoi finds space on the counter-attack and he races past the halfway line and towards the Kosovar box, before unleashing a powerful shot that flies well over the bar.
56' Rashica cuts inside from the left again, but this time his cross is poor and rolls towards Maguire to clear. Nevertheless, England need to find a way to stem the tide of attacks down each flank.
54' Well, England are under a similar spell of pressure to that in the first half! Kosovo are attacking crisply in numbers and the away side are struggling to keep up right now.
53' Rrahmani should score again! Hadergjonaj drifts in a cross from the right that finds Rrahmani alone six yards out, but the defender miscues his header horribly and it bounces back out of the box allowing England clear!
51' Kosovo almost equalise! Rashica whips in a corner for the hosts that carries through to Berisha on the edge of the box, who slices a volley towards goal before Rrahmani deflects the shot with a glancing header from six yards that sails inches wide of the post!
49' Alexander-Arnold takes the resulting set-piece after the foul on Sterling, by bending in a wicked delivery that just misses the onrushing attackers before drifting through to Muric.
B. Kololli
Yellow Card
48' Kololli is booked for halting Sterling's run 30 yards from goal.
47' Kosovo have mustered six shots on goal so far, but only two of these have been from inside the box. They might be better served by patiently trying to engineer better chances in the second period, instead of taking speculative shots when the opportunity arises.
46' England get the second 45 underway.
This second period will be a key test for England's young defence to learn from. They'll face an energised home team desperate to end the qualifiers on a high by finding that equaliser. They don't often find themselves under stern pressure in qualifying fixtures and if the away side don't extend their lead, this one could become a nervy affair.
Well, after an evenly contested first half, England hold a slender 1-0 lead at the break. The hosts started brightly and could have taken the lead when Nuhiu positioned himself expertly for Berisha's cross before heading straight at Pope. However, England defended stoutly under pressure and grew into the game before taking the lead through Winks' smart finish after clever interplay with Oxlade-Chamberlain. Kosovo continued to push forward though and managed a few shots at goal before the end of the half, but they've yet to seriously test Pope in England's net.
45' HALF TIME: Kosovo 0-1 England
43' Kosovo win their second corner of the match, but this time Maguire manages to nod the delivery away at the first attempt, before Rice clears the danger on the edge of the box.
42' The hosts engineer a smart move, as Rashica shimmies forward down the left before cutting a pass back to Nuhiu on the edge of the area, where the ball eventually runs for Celina who curls a looping effort comfortably over the bar.
40' Maguire picks out Chilwell with a rangy diagonal, but Hadergonjaj cuts out the pass before a poor touch surrenders possession back to England.
38' Winks knocks Nuhiu over just inside the England half as Kosovo win another free-kick.
36' England will be thrilled with the trajectory off this half so far! They managed to navigate the early spell of pressure from the hosts, before stifling the game and then taking their chance when it arrived. They'll be hoping to really control this match going forward now.
34' Kosovo try and answer by spreading possession out towards Hadergjonaj on the right flank, but his cross is angled too close to Pope who steps calmly off his line to claim the delivery.
A. Oxlade-Chamberlain
32' Oxlade-Chamberlain displayed the invention that could make him indispensable to England's midfield going forward! The midfielder picked up possession before hitting the perfect pass through to the onrushing Winks in between the Kosovo centre-backs.
H. Winks
32' ENGLAND TAKE THE LEAD! 1-0! England put together a fluent passing move, that culminates with Oxlade-Chamberlain sliding a throughball to Winks on the edge of the area, before the midfielder glides past Rrahmani to slot a simple finish beyond the helpless Muric from eight yards!
31' Hudson-Odoi gathers a pass on the edge of the box, before twisting and turning past a couple of challenges and firing an effort from 18 yards straight at Muric.
29' Rashica slaloms into the England box where Sterling almost trips him with a clumsy challenge, but the attacker sportingly stays on his feet and gets crowded out by the defence.
28' Winks barges Berisha over as Kosovo try to push forward again - he's fortunate not to receive a booking for his latest foul.
26' Sterling drives through the heart of the Kosovo defence before attempt a cute flick through to Kane, but the striker's header back to Sterling is too weak and the hosts clear.
24' Rashica lashes a powerful shot from 30 yards, but it goes straight towards Pope who gratefully gathers the effort.
23' Kosovo almost open the scoring! Berisha whips in a devious corner from the left, where Rrahmani meets the delivery at the near post before powering a header at goal drifts just wide!
21' Sterling and Alexander-Arnold attempt a clever one-two, but the right-back's returned dink is ever so slightly overhit and Muric rushes out to thwart the chance.
19' England have looked sharp when they've moved the ball quickly into the final third, but those passages of play have been fleeting. Mostly, their midfield three have struggled to put together anything intricate with their possession.
17' Hadergjonaj drives up from defence again and tries to take on Chilwell, but his cross is blocked before ricocheting off his own foot and away for a goal kick.
15' Strong save from Muric! Chilwell manages to burst aggressively down the left flank, before drilling a cross in for Kane who lays a pass off to Sterling, before the Manchester City attacker hits a fierce shot towards the top right corner, where Muric leaps to tip the shot wide!
13' England slow the game down with a period of measured possession around their midfield and back four, in an attempt to begin to control the tempo of this match.
11' Despite a nervy start, you'd expect the away side to grow into this game. England have scored 34 goals in just nine games in 2019 - only in 1908 and 1966 have they scored more in a calendar year.
9' Kosovo have made a strong start so far. They feature a number of technical attackers who can feed off the imposing Nuhiu up top and they've hassled England into a series of mistakes in the opening stages.
7' Nuhiu goes close! Berisha cuts inside from the left before swinging in a devious cross that Nuhiu rises highest to nod towards goal, but Pope's positioned well to gather the dangerous header.
5' Winks trips Berisha on the halfway line to stop a sharp interchange - England are still yet to really settle into this one.
3' Oxlade-Chamberlain goes down injured and looks in considerable pain. However, while the injury initially seemed serious, fortunately, the Liverpool midfielder is able to continue.
2' The hosts push forward with intent immediately and Hadergjonaj picks up a looping diagonal on the right flank before hooking a long-range half-volley tamely into Pope's arms.
1' Kosovo get the first half underway.
The players are emerging from the tunnel and kick off is just seconds away!
England have a proud competitive away record of late, with just one defeat in their last 24 games on the road. However, Kosovo should provide a stern test: they haven’t lost two consecutive games across all competitions since October 2017.
Kosovo make just one change from their defeat to the Czech Republic, as Rashkaj drops out for Dresevic. However, the hosts do appear to have altered their shape slightly; they’ve moved from a 4-2-3-1 into a slightly more conservative 4-3-3. England, meanwhile, make five changes as they rotate their squad. Most notably, Pope replaces Pickford for just his second ever appearance for England, while Hudson-Odoi receives an opportunity on the right flank.
SUBS: John Stones, Jordan Pickford, Marcus Rashford, James Maddison, Dean Henderson, Tammy Abraham, Kieran Trippier, Jadon Sancho, Callum Wilson, Danny Rose, Mason Mount, Fikayo Tomori.
ENGLAND (4-3-3): Nick Pope; Trent Alexander-Arnold, Harry Maguire, Tyrone Mings, Ben Chilwell; Harry Winks, Declan Rice, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain; Callum Hudson-Odoi, Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling.
SUBS: Leart Paqarada, Elbasan Rashani, Visar Bekaj, Florent Muslija, Edon Zhegrova, Idriz Voca, Besar Halimi, Florent Hasani, Herolind Shala, Arbenit Xhemajli, Samir Ujkani, Anel Rashkaj.
KOSOVO (4-3-3): Arijanet Muric; Mergim Vojvoda, Amir Rrahmani, Fidan Aliti, Benjamin Kolloli; Bersant Celina, Ibrahim Dresevic, Valon Berisha; Florent Hadergjonaj, Atdhe Nuhiu, Milot Rashica.
Hello and welcome to live commentary of this European Championship Qualifiers Group A fixture between Kosovo and England. The hosts enter this one fresh from a heart-breaking 2-1 defeat against the Czech Republic, ensuring that they can no longer qualify automatically for the European Championships next year. Instead, they’ll have to make do with a play-off spot, unlike their opponents today. England sealed their place in the tournament with a towering 7-0 victory over Montenegro on Friday. Nevertheless, this game looks set to be a thrilling, attacking affair if it’s anything like the two nations’ only other meeting: England won 5-3 at Wembley in a tough game for both defences!
