That's all from Zagreb today, so thank you for joining us and goodbye!
After a trip to Turin at the weekend, Milan take on Salzburg in a winner-takes-all clash at San Siro next Wednesday, when even a draw would be enough to secure second place in Group E behind Chelsea. Dinamo, meanwhile, must lick their wounds and hope to salvage a Europa League spot by beating Chelsea for the second time this season.
Following a fairly equal first half, after which Milan took a slim lead down the tunnel, Dinamo's implosion during the second allowed their visitors to cruise to a comprehensive victory in Zagreb. So rarely defeated on home soil, the Croatian champions were split wide open again and again, with a series of Livakovic saves preventing the margin of defeat climbing higher. That's the Rossoneri's third straight win in all competitions, and they are now well-placed to escape Group E next week.
90' + 1' FULL-TIME: DINAMO ZAGREB 0-4 MILAN
88' After being played in by Origi, on the break, Rebic fails once again to find the goal his hard work merits, as a shot from the left side of the box misses to the right of Livakovic's goal.
87' After receiving the ball from fellow substitute Drmic, Bockaj scuffs a shot from the centre of the area straight at Tatarusanu, who makes a simple save in the bottom-left corner.
84' Following the corner, Pobega puts a header from the centre of the box wide of the left-hand post.
83' SUPER SAVE! Livakovic has earned his wages today, as this time he tips a Krunic shot just wide of his left-hand post when left completely exposed by a deficient Dinamo defence. That's perhaps his best save of the bunch!
82' Origi slips a tidy ball through for fellow substitute Pobega, and despite the midfielder finding the net from the edge of the box, the flag then goes up for offside.
D. Origi
O. Giroud
Milan
81' Despite scoring, a frustrated Giroud mutters to himself upon withdrawal from the fray, as Origi comes on to replace him.
80' SAVE! Livakovic denies the luckless Giroud again - this time with a near-post save from a header at close range. The veteran striker is fuming, but it was still some good positioning from the overworked goalkeeper.
79' Giroud could - perhaps should - have more goals today: he swings and misses at a cross from the right, when presented with a gilt-edged chance inside the six-yard box. Then Rebic has a cross blocked.
77' After Gabbia cheekily flips the ball over his head and chases round him to receive it, a frustrated Moharrami impedes the Milan defender and concedes a free-kick midway through his own half.
M. Bulat
J. Mišić
Dinamo Zagreb
75' Cacic also makes a change in midfield, as Misic gives way for Bulat.
P. Bočkaj
M. Oršić
Dinamo Zagreb
75' After finally threatening Milan's goal, Orsic is substituted; Bockaj is brought on.
74' CLOSE! After a quiet game to this point, Orsic drives inside and whips a curling shot narrowly wide of the right-hand post from 20 yards, with Tatarusanu looking well-beaten!
72' Gamely, but with little sign of success so far, Dinamo are trying to push forward for a consolation goal. They've clearly been stunned by the events of this one-sided second half.
T. Pobega
I. Bennacer
Milan
70' Milan's final switch of their triple change sees Bennacer, who had an illness last weekend, making way for Pobega in midfield.
F. Ballo
T. Hernández
Milan
70' Hernandez is also rested by Pioli; Ballo-Toure will replace him at left-back.
Junior Messias
Rafael Leão
Milan
70' After playing a major role in the fourth goal, Leao's job is done. He makes way for Messias.
R. Ljubičić
Own Goal
Dinamo Zagreb
69' MILAN HAVE FOUR! In quite comical circumstances, a fresh-air kick from Giroud - following another Leao run down the left and low cross - ends up in the net via Ljubicic's clumsy intervention. Chasing back to cover, he bundles the ball past Livakovic and his side are now 4-0 down at home!
66' DOUBLE SAVE! Livakovic denies Giroud twice in quick succession: first with an excellent save at close range from a well-struck shot, then from the resulting corner, when he calmly catches the ball from the Frenchman's header!
65' A rather tame effort by Spikic from the right side of the box is saved in the bottom-left corner by Tatarusanu. At least Dinamo have woken up, following a timid 20 minutes since the interval.
63' SAVE! Still alert to danger, Tatarusanu makes a smart save from an Ivanusec shot toward the bottom corner; getting down well to repel the ball to safety.
61' After his strike from the spot today, Giroud has scored 20 goals in the Champions League, with 15 coming in away matches (75 per cent).
O. Giroud
Penalty Goal
Milan
59' 3-0 MILAN! The Rossoneri are strolling it now! With unerring accuracy, Giroud steps up to the penalty spot and thumps an unsaveable shot into the top-left corner: Livakovic had no chance! Surely, that's game over.
R. Ljubičić
Yellow Card
Dinamo Zagreb
58' Ljubicic is booked for pulling over Tonali inside the area; conceding a penalty in the process.
58' PENALTY TO MILAN! As he aims to latch on to a Rebic backheel in the box, Tonali is hauled down by Ljubicic and the referee has no hesitation in pointing to the spot! Milan could have a third goal here!
D. Špikić
S. Ristovski
Dinamo Zagreb
57' Spikic comes on for Ristovski.
J. Drmić
B. Petković
Dinamo Zagreb
57' A disappointing Petkovic makes way for Drmic up front.
M. Baturina
A. Ademi
Dinamo Zagreb
57' Cacic has had enough, and makes a triple substitution. First, experienced skipper Ademi is replaced by young Baturina.
55' It has been surprising to see Dinamo's lack of resistance in the face of Milan pressure. Either the occasion or their opponents' superior quality - most likely both - have proved too much for them.
53' Milan are now totally on top, as Dinamo disintegrate. Giroud has another headed chance, but steers his effort straight at Livakovic from the centre of the area.
R. Krunić
C. De Ketelaere
Milan
52' A miserable game for De Ketelaere concludes early; Krunic comes on to replace him.
T. Hernández
Assist
Milan
49' Again linking up with his left-flank partner, Hernandez feeds Leao midway through the opposition half, before the winger goes on to score a solo goal.
Rafael Leão
Goal
Milan
49' MILAN EXTEND THEIR ADVANTAGE! With a typically surging run from out to in, Leao leaves a floundering Dinamo defence in his wake before bursting into the box and slotting the ball below an exposed Livakovic from no more than 10 yards. That's 2-0: does that seal the points for Milan?
49' Without being troubled, Tatarusanu covers across his goal to collect a weak headed attempt from Ademi.
47' Seconds after being booked, a so-far subdued De Ketelaere breaks free just outside the right edge of the area, and his low shot at goal is blocked by a desperate lunge from Peric at full stretch.
C. De Ketelaere
Yellow Card
Milan
46' For catching Misic on the foot with his studs, De Ketelaere becomes the first Milan player yellow-carded today.
46' We are back under way in Zagreb!
While Dinamo have now kept just two clean sheets in their last 38 Champions League matches, Milan have managed only one in their last 12. Surely the scoring isn't over yet at Stadion Maksimir, with both sides equally desperate for points to overtake Salzburg in Group E.
They may have spent some time without the ball, and withstood a brief flurry of danger midway through the half, but Milan have carved out sufficient chances to be merited leaders at the break. Considering their long injury list - and Dinamo's indomitable home record - the Rossoneri have given a good account of themselves, with Rebic a lively presence throughout. Their hosts will be disappointed they couldn't sustain some early momentum, but Dinamo still pose a significant threat to a makeshift Milan defence and will not back down easily.
45' + 1' HALF-TIME: DINAMO ZAGREB 0-1 MILAN
45' Demonstrating all his experience, Kjaer makes a perfectly-timed intervention to cut out a low Ljubicic ball into the box, before calmly setting a counter-attack in motion. Leao carries the ball forward and Milan ultimately win a corner on the left-hand side.
A. Ademi
Yellow Card
Dinamo Zagreb
43' Dinamo captain Ademi is the first player to see yellow, as he is booked for an ill-timed lunge on Tonali out on the right flank.
41' Despite being starved of the ball at times, Milan have already attempted 11 shots in this match - higher than their season average of 10.5 in the Champions League.
S. Tonali
Assist
Milan
39' A measured free-kick from the right sees Tonali pick up an assist for crossing to Gabbia, scorer of the opening goal.
M. Gabbia
Goal
Milan
39' MILAN LEAD! With a simple set-piece move, the Italian champions break the deadlock! From a free-kick on the right, some 30 yards from goal, Tonali flips a cross to the back post, where Gabbia arrives at the right moment to steer the ball into the back of the net with a header! It's 1-0 to Milan!
38' Driving forward with the ball, Bennacer wins a free-kick from the back-tracking Petkovic, who bundles over the Algerian midfielder 30 yards from goal.
36' Rebic is penalised following a tussle with Ljubicic in midfield; conceding a free-kick. Those two have commenced quite a running battle on Milan's right flank.
34' Clearly fired up back on Croatian soil, Rebic has attempted three shots and five crosses in this game so far, more than any other player.
32' SHARP STOP! A chance made in France is denied by a flying Livakovic save, as the Dinamo goalkeeper punches away Giroud's angled header from near the penalty spot, after the striker was picked out by Kalulu's right-wing cross. Milan are getting closer, but still we await an opening goal!
30' Now, Milan are asserting themselves more. The Rossoneri have been particularly passive to this point, though their hosts have made life difficult.
28' Shortly after his major defensive contribution, Misic strides forward under no pressure from a reluctant Milan defence. However, after his 30-yard run ends with a low shot at goal, Tatarusanu makes a straightforward save in the centre of the goal.
26' BLOCK! Misic makes a crucial intervention at close range, as after a stop-start run by Leao, Tonali picks up the loose ball and slips Rebic through inside the area. He takes a couple of touches before attempting to squeeze the ball home, but his Croatian compatriot is in the way!
24' It seems as though Milan have ridden out the storm - for now, at least. The game is being contested mostly in midfield at the moment, after a 10-minute spell of Dinamo dominance.
22' Almost latching on to a ball from deep into the box, Rebic just fails to get a boot on the ball and it skips away to safety.
20' Not only have Dinamo Zagreb had 73 per cent of possession in the opening stages, they have also won the same share of duels so far - they are clearly on top now, but can they make it pay?
18' SAVE! Tatarusanu stands form to parry away a curling, if eminently saveable strike from Ivanusec, who takes aim from the left side of the area. Then, on the follow-up Kjaer blocks a low goalbound shot from Ristovski!
16' After Orsic attempts to force the ball goalwards from the right side of the area, Gabbia is forced to head it away from inside his own six-yard box - the hosts are flooding forward now!
13' Though Dinamo Zagreb have not lost more European games against any other opponent than Milan (five, also versus Ajax) the current side have been beaten in only one of their last five home games in the Champions League - against Manchester City in December 2019.
11' MISS! All of a sudden, it's an end-to-end encounter, as Ljubicic drives forward with little resistance from the Milan midfield, then sends a low shot from the left side of the box around a yard wide of the far post!
10' DOUBLE CHANCE! Milan almost break through twice in the same move, as Kjaer drives a volleyed attempt at goal from the edge of the box but sees it blocked, then De Ketelaere pivots and sees his shot charged down too!
8' SAVE! Showing great balance, De Ketelaere glides past two men and to the right byline, then clips the ball into the six-yard box for Giroud. With the ball at an awkward height and just behind him, Giroud contrives a back-heel volley which Livakovic blocks at the near post, at close range. The flag then goes up for an apparent offside.
6' After a free-kick from the left is cleared away by the Dinamo defence, Kalulu hoists a high ball into the box from the other flank, but Rebic commits a foul inside the packed penalty area as he competes for possession.
5' After receiving some 'magic' spray from the medics, Livakovic limps back towards his goal line and the action is back under way.
4' Stretching to keep the ball in play on the left byline, Dinamo goalkeeper Livakovic seems to have sustained a knee injury, so the game is brought to a halt while he receives treatment.
3' The hosts have had all the ball in the opening stages, though mostly in the middle third of the pitch; Milan have started cautiously.
1' Wearing all blue - Milan are sporting white - Dinamo kick off, and we are under way in Zagreb!
The Champions League anthem echoes around Stadion Maksimir, and with the players now out in the middle, kick-off is just moments away!
Severely depleted by injury, Milan must also do without defensive mainstay Fikayo Tomori today, as he serves a suspension after being sent off against former club Chelsea. Gabbia therefore partners Kjaer at the heart of Stefano Pioli's back four. As Diaz was withdrawn injured after scoring twice at the weekend, De Ketelaere comes in to support the returning Giroud up front. Ever versatile, Rebic starts on the right, as Alexis Saelemaekers remains absent; joining captain Davide Calabria, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and first-choice goalkeeper Mike Maignan among those on the sidelines.
Once again, Dinamo have opted for a three-man central defence, but they make a change from the XI that started against Salzburg earlier this month: Spikic makes way for Moharrami on the right flank. As Ivanusec is recalled after only featuring as a substitute in Friday's draw with Hajduk Split, teenager Baturina is consigned to the bench. Meanwhile, Orsic is the hosts' record scorer in European competition, and with two goals in Group E to date, partners Petkovic up front.

After a couple of chastening defeats to Chelsea - for the concession of five goals, with none scored - Milan have won only two of their 10 matches in the Champions League since returning from the wilderness last year. By contrast, the Rossoneri posted a fourth straight Serie A win at the weekend, beating neighbouring Monza to stay in touch with league leaders Napoli as they seek to defend the Scudetto. While Milan have struggled to replicate such form on the continental stage, the seven-time European champions have won all five of their meetings with Dinamo before today's game.
Lagging behind Chelsea and Salzburg in the Group E standings, both Dinamo Zagreb and today's visitors Milan have accrued four points from as many matches so far. The Croatian champions have in fact taken just one from their last three Champions League fixtures - including a 3-1 defeat at San Siro - with their only win coming on the opening day, at home to Chelsea. Once more league leaders domestically, Dinamo have lost only two of their last 20 European home games, following a draw with Salzburg last time out.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of today's Champions League Group E clash between Dinamo Zagreb and Milan at Stadion Maksimir!
