Selhurst Park

That's all for today, goodbye!
Palace get back to winning ways, and it lifts them into 10th place. They travel to West Ham next weekend. Southampton's three-game unbeaten run comes to an end as they stay in 16th. Next up for them is a tough game against Newcastle United.
Palace hold on to see out a 1-0 win over Southampton. The hosts dominated the first half and Edouard saw a goal disallowed for offside before he scored what turned out to be the winner in the 38th minute. Mitchell put it on a plate for him, and he tapped in from close range. Southampton pushed for an equaliser in the second half and Adams had two great chances saved by Guaita, while Armstrong came closest when he struck the base of the post.
90' + 4' The Palace fans and players aren't happy with the referee as they think he's giving cheap free-kicks to Southampton. Ward-Prowse was tripped that time and Bazunu takes it, but it's comfortably cleared by Mitchell.
90' + 2' Ward-Prowse lifts in a good free-kick from the left and Guaita comes a long way off his line to punch it away just in front of Salisu. He gets distance on it and the pressure is off Palace for a moment.
90' Palace are dropping deeper in their own half as they attempt to see out the win. Edozie has switched out to the left and he clips in a good cross to Mara at the far post, but he glances his header wide.
88' It's a heavy challenge by Hughes on Djenepo, but it doesn't stop the Southampton attack. They switch it out to Lyanco on the right, and he bursts past Zaha to get into the box. Guehi stands tall, though, and stops him from picking out a cross.
S. Mara
S. Armstrong
86' Southampton are also making a change themselves, as Mara comes on to replace the injured Armstrong.
J. Riedewald
M. Olise
Crystal Palace
86' Final change for Palace now and it's not the original change of Mateta that was going to happen a few minutes ago. Instead, Riedewald comes on for Olise.
85' Edozie peels away down the right and again, Southampton have bodies in the box for him to aim for. He goes for power as he drills it into the six-yard box, but Guaita gets enough on it to deflect it away from goal.
84' Palace break on the counter and Ayew bursts down the right with Zaha keeping pace with him all the way. Ayew hesitates to put a cross into the middle for the Ivorian, and it allows Caleta-Car to get back and block the cross.
T. Mitchell
Yellow Card
Crystal Palace
82' Southampton were threatening to break, but Mitchell just stopped that from happening with his foul on Edozie. He's shown a yellow card.
81' Vieira was about to make a change and bring Mateta on, but he's changed his mind as Olise bursts forward down the right. He whips it into the near post from the byline, but Bazunu pushes it away just in front of Schlupp.
79' Edozie spins away from Mitchell down the right, and he squares it into Aribo in the middle. It's crowded in the box, but he manages to squeeze a shot towards goal. There's no power on it, though, and it's a comfortable save for Guaita.
77' Palace win a corner, and it's a good delivery from Olise. Andersen is hovering near the penalty spot, but he wasn't expecting the ball and it bounces off his chest before Salisu hooks it away.
W. Hughes
O. Édouard
Crystal Palace
75' The goalscorer, Edouard, goes straight off after receiving treatment, and Hughes comes on to make his 100th Premier League appearance.
M. Djenepo
R. Perraud
74' Perraud is also taken off, with Djenepo replacing him.
S. Edozie
M. Elyounoussi
74' Double change for Southampton now as they keep pushing for an equaliser. Elyounoussi is the first to go off, with Edozie on in his place.
72' Caleta-Car decides to go for a more direct route this time, lifting it over the top towards Adams on the edge of the box. He's sandwiched between two Palace defenders, though, and can't bring it down.
70' CLOSE! Southampton quickly work it down their left and Adams just helps Perraud's cross onto Ward-Prowse. He has so much space on the edge of the D, but he drills a first-time effort towards goal which is just wide of the near post.
68' Zaha spins away from Lyanco again to get into the box, but the defender recovers quickly to poke it out of his path. Olise is stretching to reach the loose ball, but ends up just catching Perraud in the process.
66' SAVE! Palace lose the ball deep in their own half again and it looks like Aribo is shaping up for a shot, but instead, he lays it off to his left for Adams to run onto. He hits it first time, but again, Guaita makes the save to deny him. He should've scored there, though!
65' Palace are enjoying a good spell of possession here as they try to find their rhythm again. They work it well from left to right, but Olise can't pick out a cross.
J. Ayew
E. Eze
Crystal Palace
63' Palace are making their first change of the game now, as Eze is replaced by Ayew.
O. Édouard
Yellow Card
Crystal Palace
61' Milivojevic sells Edouard short with the pass, and the Frenchman slides in on Maitland-Niles to try and make up for it. He's late and is shown a yellow card.
60' OFF THE POST! Eze cheaply loses the ball and Southampton are able to break on another counter. Ward-Prowse threads it through to Armstrong on the left of the box and he fires a low shot on goal which smacks off the base of the post.
58' Southampton win it back high upfield through Maitland-Niles this time, and he switches it out to Armstrong down the right. Aribo and Adams both peel away to the far post, and he doesn't get enough on his cross to pick either of them out.
56' It's brilliant work from Zaha down the left as he loses Lyanco with some clever footwork. He drags it past him before pulling it back towards the penalty spot, but he can only pick out Maitland-Niles.
54' SAVE! Southampton are on the attack again and Armstrong gets a yard on Andersen as he drives into the box. He keeps his head down as he rifles a shot low towards the near post, and Guaita tips it wide with a strong hand.
53' GOOD SAVE! Ward-Prowse surges through the middle and is allowed to carry the ball a long way before laying it off to Adams on the edge of the box. He takes his shot first time, but it's straight at Guaita, who made himself big to smother it.
52' Big shouts for a handball from the Southampton fans and players as they claim that Elyounoussi's strike was blocked by Guehi's arm. It bounces off his calf onto his arm, and there wasn't much he could do about it.
50' The visitors commit a lot of bodies forward, which gives Palace the space to break on the counter. Eze slides it through to Zaha on the left of the box, and he checks back before curling his shot across goal. It's blocked by Salisu, but the flag was up anyway.
48' Southampton have made a bright start to the second half, putting Palace under some early pressure here. Ward-Prowse lifts it into the box, and there are three Saints players in there, but Andersen makes the clearance.
46' Palace get us back underway for the second half!
A. Maitland-Niles
I. Diallo
46' Southampton are making a change at the break. Maitland-Niles is brought on in place of Diallo.
Vieira will be pleased with his side's first-half performance as they've barely let Southampton have a sniff. They've responded well to last week's loss and he'll be hoping for more of the same. Frustration started to get the better of the Saints as the half went on, and Hasenhuttl will be looking for them to be a much bigger threat after the break.
Palace lead Southampton 1-0 at the break after a dominant first half. From the first whistle, the Eagles have put Southampton under pressure and caused the visitors all sorts of problems. Bazunu was forced into a good save to deny Eze, who also drilled a low shot just wide. Edouard had a goal disallowed for offside, but did eventually break the deadlock when he tapped in Mitchell's cross from close range.
45' + 2' Diallo comes away with it on the edge of his own box, and he's able to carry it a long way before sliding it into Adams on the left. He can't seem to shake Ward, though, and eventually fouls the defender in his frustration.
M. Elyounoussi
Yellow Card
45' Elyounoussi dawdles on the ball and loses out to Zaha, who attempts to break for Palace. The Norwegian then fouls him in an attempt to make up for his mistake and is shown a yellow card.
44' Palace's threat is coming from their left still, with Zaha slotting it through for Eze again. He's looking for Edouard in the middle with his low cross, but Caleta-Car steps in with a vital block.
42' Southampton's frustration is starting to show as they're still struggling to get out of their own half. Caleta-Car eventually decides to go long, but overhits the pass to Aribo straight out of play.
M. Salisu
Yellow Card
40' Palace are breaking quickly on the counter, and Salisu takes one for the team by blocking off Edouard's run and picking up a yellow card.
T. Mitchell
Crystal Palace
38' Mitchell was watching Edouard's run all the way and with one last glance up when he reached the ball, he put it on a plate for the Frenchman.
O. Édouard
Crystal Palace
38' EDOUARD SCORES! They've finally found a way past Southampton! Lyanco loses out to Zaha, who picks out Mitchell's overlapping run into the box. He squares it to the edge of the six-yard box, and Edouard slots it past Caleta-Car and Bazunu into the back of the net. 1-0 Palace!
37' Palace are keeping the pressure on here as they win a corner, which Eze floats into the box. Andersen rises highest in the middle to thump a header towards goal, but it's straight at Bazunu.
35' Zaha turns to lose Diallo and he squeezes a cross into Olise on the edge of the box. He feeds it through to Edouard again, but he sees his shot on the half-turn blocked by Perraud.
33' OFFSIDE! It's too easy for Palace as Andersen just plays it long over the top for Schlupp. He flicks it onto Olise, who picks out the unmarked Edouard in the box. He coolly slots his shot through Bazunu's legs before the flag cuts short the celebrations.
W. Zaha
Yellow Card
Crystal Palace
31' Zaha is also booked for dissent due to his protests following Lyanco's foul.
Yellow Card
31' Lyanco crashes into the back of Zaha and bundles him over, which results in him being shown the first yellow card of the game.
30' WIDE! Armstrong gets in Adams' way, and it allows Palace to nick the ball back. Edouard comes away with it and lays it off to Eze on the edge of the box, but he drills his low shot wide this time.
29' GOOD SAVE! Palace go straight down the other end, working it down their right once again, before Milivojevic tees up Eze on the edge of the D. He takes it first time, keeping his shot low, and Bazunu gets down to push it wide.
27' OFF THE POST! Diallo spins before playing it down the left for Adams, and he has acres of space ahead of him. He cuts inside and uses Andersen as a shield as he curls his shot towards the far post. It smacks off the woodwork just before a belated offside flag goes up.
26' It's a sloppy clearance from Salisu as he gifts it to Olise, who cuts inside from the right before floating an early cross to the far post. Eze wasn't on the same wavelength, though, and it's over his head and out.
24' Aribo tries to ease the pressure on his side by going long for Perraud down the left. He reaches it at the byline and has three to aim for in the middle, but hits his cross against Guehi at the near post.
22' Big shouts for a penalty from the Palace fans and players as Olise tumbles over in the box. He jumped into Salisu before going down, and the referee shakes his head before the winger hops straight back to his feet.
20' Zaha is down again, but it was a fair challenge from Salisu. He touches it into Armstrong, who surges through the middle on the counter before he's stopped by Schlupp, much to the Scotsman's frustration.
18' Zaha stays down after losing the ball to Lyanco and the referee allows play to carry on as Adams is played in down the right. He takes one touch to set himself before drilling a low shot across goal from range, but it rolls well wide.
16' GREAT CHANCE! It's a lovely backheel flick from Eze to lift it over his shoulder before touching it through to Zaha. He whips a low cross into the six-yard box and Edouard stretches, but can't get the touch he needs to put it into the empty net.
14' Perraud slips which allows Ward to pick out Olise in acres of space down the right. His first thought is to slide it into the box for Edouard, but he's caught on his heels and Bazunu comes out to collect it.
12' Palace won 2-1 against Southampton in April, but have never won consecutive Premier League matches against the Saints.
10' BLOCK! It's good work from Palace down their right again, with Schlupp holding off Salisu this time to turn before bursting down the wing. He squares it to Milivojevic in the middle and he turns it towards goal first time, but Caleta-Car makes a great block.
8' Palace's high press is causing Southampton a few problems here, with the visitors unable to get out of their own half. Olise wins it back and tries to feed it through to Ward, but Armstrong just nudges him off the ball.
6' There's a nervy moment at the back as Bazunu takes a heavy touch at his far post and Eze races forward to close him down. He manages to clear his lines just in time, but gifts possession straight back to Palace.
4' CHANCE! Zaha is tripped just outside the box by Elyounoussi and Milivojevic steps up to take the resulting free-kick. He's aiming for the near top corner, but his curling shot sails just over the bar.
2' Southampton have made a bright start to this game, putting Palace under early pressure here. Perraud gets a yard on Ward to whip it into the box, and Guaita takes no chances by tipping it over the bar.
1' Armstrong gets the game underway for Southampton!
The teams are out on the pitch now, with kick-off just moments away!
Southampton have lost just three of their 13 Premier League visits to Palace (W6 D4), although they are winless in their last two at Selhurst Park (D1 L1).
There's just one change by Ralph Hasenhuttl as well from the draw with Arsenal last Sunday. Adams comes back into the team in place of Adam Armstrong, who starts on the bench. Maitland-Niles is also available again among the substitutes, after being ineligible to face his parent club last time out.
Patrick Vieira makes just one change to the side that lost to Everton last weekend. Schlupp is brought in for Ayew, who drops to the bench.
SOUTHAMPTON SUBS: Moussa Djenepo, Theo Walcott, Lewis Payne, Alex McCarthy, Sekou Mara, Samuel Edozie, Juan Larios, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Adam Armstrong.
SOUTHAMPTON (4-4-2): Gavin Bazunu; Lyanco, Duje Caleta-Car, Mohammed Salisu, Romain Perraud; Mohamed Elyounoussi, James Ward-Prowse, Ibrahima Diallo, Stuart Armstrong; Che Adams, Joe Aribo.

Palace's upturn in form this month saw them go on a three-match unbeaten run in the league (W2 D1), with both of those wins coming at home after the Eagles came from behind to beat Leeds United and Wolves. The streak came to an end last weekend, though, as they lost 3-0 away to Everton. Southampton are on a three-game unbeaten run of their own (W1 D2), with that victory coming away from home against Bournemouth before they drew 1-1 with Arsenal last time out.
