Harambee Stars moved top of Group F after holding hosts Ethiopia to a barren draw at the Bahir Dar Stadium on Wednesday

  1. Goal Kenya.

    #1 Musa Mohammed

Another game, another solid display from the former Gor Mahia captain. It is safe to say Musa has grown from a boy to a man. He was literally a beast on the pitch and managed to keep the ball out of the danger zone on a number of occasions. He read the game well and ensured he cleared any danger looming.

    #2 Philemon Otieno

Recovered from that 'nasty' injury sustained against Ghana to start for the Stars and he proved he is one dependable full back. Just like the last game, the Gor Mahia ace stood out and ensured his wing was not used. He was there when he was needed and the most important thing is that he delivered.

  3. Goal Kenya.

    #3 Brian Mandela

It was a stun test for the burly defender against the Walya Antelopes, but he passed the test with flying colours. Won most of the aerial duels and started the buildups from the back. Bailed out the midfield twice and was there to cover for keeper Patrick Matasi, who had made a timing mistake.

  4. Goal Kenya.

    #4 Dennis Odhiambo

The Sofapaka player was once again trusted in the midfield and he did not disappoint. The pressure was there from the tens of thousands, who were supporting the home team, but Odhiambo rose for the occasion. His job was to stop the opponents from playing in the midfield, and the lad did just that.

  5. Goal Kenya.

    #5 Erick Johanna

He was just unlucky! He created several chances for the team and ensured the defenders had work to do. Missed a great chance to score when through on goal, but that does not take away the good job done by him. Will be very vital for coach Sebastien Migne in the qualification campaign.
