Yanga Caretaker Boss, Noel Mwandila has revealed that they are all disappointed with the home goalless draw against Rwanda’s Rayon Sports but has vowed to keep fighting for a chance in the quarter-finals.
Speaking after the match, Mwandila said that they had good preparations but unfortunately the results did not come their way.
“We are all disappointed with the results but this is football so we have to take it and prepare ourselves for the coming matches,” said Mwandila.
Mwandila said that their target is to reach 10+ points so they have to win the remaining two home games before seeking one away triumph.
“Our target is to reach ten plus points, we will achieve so by winning the remaining two home games and one away victory, this will put us in good place to progress” added Mwandila.
The goalless draw against Rayon Sports leaves Yanga at the bottom of Group D with only a point to their name.
