Yanga to learn CAF opponents on Wednesday

Following their elimination from the CAF Champions League and relegation to the Confederation Cup, Tanzania’s Yanga SC now awaits to learn who their opponents will be in a draw which will be held in Cairo, Egypt on Wednesday.

Yanga was knocked out of the tournament by Botswana’s Township Rollers in the play-off encounter after playing a scoreless draw on Saturday. In the first match which was held in Dar es Salaam, The Jangwani Boys accepted a 2-1 defeat.

Among the teams which Yanga may be drawn against is Al Masry of Egypt who sent Simba (Yanga’s arch rival) out of the tournament earlier this week.

Others are, CR Beleouizdad, USM Alger (Algeria), Djoliba (Mali), Raja Casablanca (Morocco), Enyimba (Nigeria), SuperSport (The Republic of South Africa) and Al Hilal (Sudan)
