Orlando Pirates attacking midfielder Vincent Pule has revealed that his teammates have helped him adjust to life at the club.

The Soweto giants snapped up the left-footed attacker on a free transfer after he parted ways with Bidvest Wits prior to the start of the current season.

Pule has hit the ground running at the Soweto giants having netted twice in his last three Premier Soccer League (PSL) matches.

The midfielder admitted that he has been overwhelmed by playing for a big club like the Buccaneers.

“As you have seen, I have been playing every game and it’s something special for me considering where I’m coming from,” Pule told SunSport.

“The season we won the league at Wits, I did not play that much, but last season I did play and this season I have played in almost every game," he continued.

Pule helped Wits win the 2016/17 PSL title and 2016 MTN8 Cup, but he somehow struggled for game time in his final season with the Braamfontein-based club.

“I think the game model is different. At Wits, mostly you play on second balls, but at Pirates we build from the back and I think it’s something that has changed into my game," Pule added.

The 26-year-old player stated that the support he has received from his teammates and coaches has eased the pressure at the Houghton-based side.

“The coach has told us the attacking players to have movement when the likes of Xola Mlambo, Ben Motshwari and Musa Nyatama have the ball because they are capable of giving you those passes. We have the freedom to move," he concluded.

Pirates will look to return to winning ways in the league when they take on Baroka FC at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.

Bucs threw away a two-goal during their midweek clash with Cape Town City and the game ended in a 2-2 draw at the Orlando Stadium.
