Vihiga United are looking forward to the much awaited Kenyan Premier League debut this weekend.
The new entrants into the top flight football alongside Wazito FC will host Mathare United at their new home ground, Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega on Sunday.
The National Super League winners moved base from Mumias Complex to newly refurbished Bukhungu though Mumias still remains as an alternative venue.
Vihiga will once again rely on the services of the veteran midfielder, Charles Okwemba, though some of the new signings are also expected to play a big role in their survival.
The new signings include Michael Isabwa, Andrew Murunga, Geoffrey Puti, Ali Kesi, Fernandez Tera, Jonathan Mugabi, Victor Ayugi, Vincent Wonder, William Oricho, Wycliffe Kabaji, Vincent Kagasi and Daudi Saisi.
