Tusker Coach Robert Matano calls for cohesion in the squad

Matano has promised to bring on board new faces during the June transfer window

Lack of team cohesion is the biggest undoing for a struggling Tusker, said coach Robert Matano.

Matano suffered a third consecutive defeat after the Brewers went down 2-0 at home to Kakamega Homeboyz on Saturday.

Allan Wanga, who was released by Tusker in January, punished his former side with a second goal of the day despite the home side dominating the second half

Matano, who has promised to bring on board new faces during the June transfer, said that Tusker is lacking teamwork.

“We played badly and we lost the match. We have to play as a team. We are going to organize ourselves in the second leg because football is a game of results, so we need people who can carry the team and fight for a win.”

The latest lose that came after those against Kariobangi Sharks and Nakumatt left Tusker 13th on the log.
