Abdulai Mukarama was on target for the Ghana Women's team in their 6-0 triumph over Togo in Friday's Wafu Women's Cup encounter in Abidjan.

After a 2-0 win over Senegal on Wednesday, Mercy Tagoe's ladies were aiming to seal a semi-final berth against the Togolese.
The 16-year-old forward, who scored to seal the win against the Senegalese, broke the deadlock for Black Queens in the final seconds of the first half.

With Mukarama's goal opening the path to victory, Alice Kusi scored a brace 15 minutes after the restart to extend the advantage for the holders.

In the 70th minute, Grace Asantewaa scored the fourth before Mavis Owusu scored twice before the 85th minute to confirm Ghana's last-four place.

Owusu, who scored a late brace for Ghana in the encounter was given the Woman of the Match prize.

With Cote d'Ivoire's 4-0 win over Senegal, Friday's results mean the hosts and the Black Queens are through to the semi-finals with six points each after two games.
