Nigeria international Francisca Ordega has said the Super Falcons will do all it takes to secure victory against Gambia in Monday’s African Women’s Cup of Nations qualifier.

Thomas Dennerby’s women won the first leg 1-0 in Bakau and will be seeking a double against the west Africans at the Agege Stadium, while the visitors must win convincingly to qualify for their first championship.

According to the Washington Spirit star, the reigning African queens will get the job done after missing plenty of scoring chances in the first leg.

“Everyone is expecting us to win and score a lot of goals, and definitely we will make our fans proud,” Ordega told Goal.

“African football has stepped up and it will be tough to predict how many goals we will score, but I want to assure Nigerians that we will put up a good fight.

“In the first leg we lost a lot of scoring chances  - for me especially, I missed close to three goals which could have been utilised, hopefully against the Gambians on Monday, we get things right.

“I am optimistic that we will get the job done because we will be playing before how fans and on a better field, all we hope for is fair officiating.”
