Sunshine Stars defeated Confine FC 2-0 in the Federation Cup Round of 32 game played on Monday afternoon.
Ajibola Otegbeye’s brace powered the Nigeria Professional Football League outfit into the next round at the at the Warri Township Stadium.
The Ikot Ekpene based sides had dumped Heartland out of the competition in the Round of 64, and were hoping to upset Henry Abiodun’s men.

However, it was Ajibola who put the Owena Whales ahead after blasting home from a half-volley to give his side the lead.
He doubled the lead 15 minutes from full time after tapping home Omodu West's cross.
Despite Confine FC showing promises in the closing stages of the game, the Owena Whales marched into the next stage.
