Sundowns forward Khama Billiat in no hurry to make the next move amid Orlando Pirates interest

Mamelodi Sundowns forward Khama Billiat has insisted that he is not in a hurry to make his next move.

The Zimbabwe international's contract with Sundowns is due to expire at the end of June 2018 and he will be free to join a club of his choice.

The former Ajax Cape Town talisman confirmed that he has received a couple offers, but he is yet to make up his mind about which club he will joining during the upcoming July-August transfer window.

“Honestly, I don’t know yet. I am still to sit down with my manager," Billiat told Zimbabwean publication, The Herald.

"I have got a couple of offers and we will see what’s best for Khama Billiat and where the future is going to be," he said.

Recent reports have indicated Pirates are keen to sign Billiat this winter. The tricky player was heavily linked with the Buccaneers in 2013, but he joined the Brazilians.

“I just pray to God and hope the decision that we are going to make at the end is going to be the right decision that makes everyone who believes in me, and everyone who has been supporting me, and the whole nation, very happy," he continued.

“That’s why I never rush anything, I have time on my hands and I don’t have any pressure. I can always make a decision even at the last minute, but I hope it’s going to be a great decision at the end,” said Billiat," he added.

The highly-rated attacker, who won the 2015/16 PSL Player of the Season award, added that he will leave Sundowns a happy man following a successful spell with the Tshwane giants.

“I don’t want to lie to myself, I have been happy (at Sundowns). It’s just me trying to challenge myself and see how far I can go. They have been good to me,” he concluded.

Billiat was one of Sundowns' key players as they clinched the 2017/18 PSL title - scoring eight goals in 16 league matches.
