Sony Sugar forward Enock Agwanda is glad to have heeded to his wife advice to return to the club.
It was at that point that he was advised to 'go home' and since then, things changed for the talented forward, who scored a brace in Sony Sugar’s victory over Kariobangi Sharks.
"My wife and parents are the reason why I am standing here receiving this award, they made me return home and since then my career has rejuvenated. Things did not go well for me especially at Bandari where injuries got the better of me, but since I came back, all that have changed.
"I cannot say that I played well in January, but it was way better than the previous month. The faith that the coach has in me is a motivation, it has helped me on the pitch in terms of confidence."
Agwanda’s contribution now leaves Patrick Odhiambo side salivating for a top-five finish even after enduring a difficult first half of the season.
