The Singapore Under-19 national team will be competing in the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Under-19 Championship in Surabaya Indonesia, from 1-14 July.
Our boys have been drawn in Group A, alongside Thailand, hosts Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos and the Philippines. The team will kick-start their campaign on 1 July against the Philippines at the Joko Samudro Stadium. This will be followed by Indonesia then Thailand and Laos before playing Vietnam in their final group game.
Head Coach Rob Servais has called up a squad of 22 players including five players who have featured in the Singapore Premier League. Servais believes the tournament will provide the players with vital experience and although it will be a tough tournament, the Singapore coach believes the boys can go all the way.
