Sammy Omollo keen to keep Posta Rangers afloat with win over Kakamega Homeboyz

Posta Rangers head coach Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo says his team will go for maximum points when they face Kakamega Homeboyz in their final match of the season.

The mailmen, who are placed in the sixteenth position with thirty-seven points, can go 12th on the log if the teams above them fails to collect maximum points on the last day. ‘Pamzo’ is however, concerned with the fast Homeboyz wingers, who he says will have to be put on check.

“We have not had the best second leg for sure, we have slipped several times and dropped points. It has not been as seamless as it should be, but it is time for us to put that behind and get the win this weekend. We all know it is not going to be an easy assignment, but we are prepared.

“Yes, they have a quick forward line especially the wingers, but we have a strategy in place to stop them. If we manage to take the many chances we create, we will win,” Omollo told Goal in an interview.

Posta Rangers won the first leg 2-0 and are among the teams fighting to stay afloat.
