Sam Ssimbwa has made two key changes in Sofapaka's squad that will take on Muhoroni Youth on Wednesday in the Kenyan Premier League match.
Michael Oduor and Abdulatiff Omar have been dropped from the traveling squad, same as Captain Hillary Echesa, who has been given leave to recover from fatigue.
Oduor, who was in the starting lineup that drew 1-1against Muhoroni at home is suffering from big toe syndrome, but there is no information why Omar, who started from the bench in last game was dropped.
Sofapaka will meet the Kisumu County side at the dreaded Muhoroni Youth grounds following the decision by the Independent Disciplinary and Complaints Committee to dismiss a petition by Nzoia Sugar to ban the grounds on security grounds.
Mathias Kigonya will retain his position in the goal while former AFC Leopards captain, Bernard Mang’oli is expected to make a return to the starting lineup, having been benched in the last game.
Sofapaka squad: Mathias Kigonya, Juma Reuben, Jonathan Mugabi, Willis Ouma, Moses Aloro, Wesley Onguso, Umaru Kasumba, Ali Feni, Timothy Luda, Meshack Karani, Mohammed Kilume, Ezekiel Okare, Brian Dayo, Morven Otinya, Maurice Odipo, Bernard Mang’oli.
