SuperSport United midfielder Reneilwe 'Yeye' Letsholonyane says Orlando Pirates will soon become one of the best teams in the country.

The veteran midfield maestro feels that the Buccaneers are led by very knowledgeable coaches.

Bucs currently boast one of the best technical teams in the PSL with Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic as their head coach and both Rulani Mokwena and Fadlu Davids as first and second assistants respectively.

“They have a quality technical team with a mixture of young and old, and they are football people whose knowledge has helped the team improve after a very long time,” Letsholonyane told the media.

Bucs head coach Sredojevic and his assistant Mokwena turned Bucs into perennial PSL title contenders and guided the team to Caf Champions League group stages after joining the club in August 2017.

They have since been joined by Davids, who led Maritzburg United to the 2017/18 Nedbank Cup final where they lost to eventual winners Free State Stars.

“You can see there's more structure and organisation, and the players are enjoying themselves while doing the right things most of the time," Letsholonyane said.

Letsholonyane, who won two PSL titles with Kaizer Chiefs, believes that Bucs are making good progress under the three tacticians.

“I think in the near future they’ll probably be one of the best teams in the country again," the former Jomo Cosmos player concluded.

Letsholonyane was speaking ahead of SuperSport's PSL clash with Pirates at the Mbombela Stadium on Wednesday.
